Brought to Las Vegas by Sammy Hagar, Cabo Wabo Cantina combines the laid-back, beach town vibe of Cabo San Lucas, Mexico with the excitement of the Las Vegas Strip. Located in the heart of The Strip, the rockin’ cantina blends coastal Mexican and Tex Mex cuisine to create a menu that offers a tantalizing mix of flavorful food and killer cocktails. Cabo Wabo is home to one of the most popular happy hours in Las Vegas, serving half-off select appetizers, margaritas, draft beer and sangrias from 3 to 5 p.m. every Monday through Friday. With a variety of dining options, including a newly remodeled, Strip-side patio, a vibrant cantina and The LOFT, available for private events, the fiesta never stops at Cabo Wabo.
Rocker Sammy Hagar’s high-energy cantina dishing out Mexican eats & cocktails in colorful digs.

We went to Cabo Wabo because Cabo Wabo Reposado is our favorite tequila. But, what we were blown away with is Laura’s service. Laura was amazing, it felt like we have known her forever. She was kind, attentive & we loved that she was comfortable enough to sit & chat with us a few times (don’t worry it was slow her personal touch did not affect the service she gave others). Since, we ordered our favorite tequila, Laura suggested a few & let us sample them, we enjoyed both. Every time Laura checked in on us it was a joy, like being visited by a friend.
Now for the food, we order the triple dipper, tequila shrimp & the carnitas platter all 3 dishes were delicious.
But, hands down Laura’s service will keep us coming back to this bright rock & roll playing restaurant.

Great people watching spot and view of the Bellagio fountains. Food was good too. Margarita wasn’t my fave and didn’t have an orange flavor. Atmosphere is so fun and colorful. Ask for a patio spot.

Impressive to get a great tasting bloody Mary with muddled jalapeno, three different burgers and a breakfast burrito with a fruit bowl just minutes after 8am. The coffee was good, but they didn’t have real milk. Great decor and service. For me the prices are a bit naughty, but a solid offering that fells like a safe choice. I would definitely return if the prices were reviewed.

Thanks, Sammy Hagar, for putting up a lively but “affordable” eatery in the middle of the Vegas trip. With the great majority of menu items under thirty dollars, it’s as affordable as anything you can find for a sit-down meal. Plus, they play rock music the entire time, and the service was super friendly. Highly recommended for anybody, including families.

I had a great experience here as a solo traveler! The food and service were top-notch. My server, Justin, was incredibly helpful and attentive. He suggested several great vegetarian options and made sure almost any dish could be modified to be veggie-friendly. The portion size was huge and they helped with boxing the left-overs. Vegetarian people should find good options here if ask for.

We came here on a Friday night with a small group. Our server was Brendon wo was amazing at his job. He explained the menu and suggested the drinks he believed we would like based on our likes and tastes….and he was spot on. He continued to check on us and kept our table clean and our drinks filled.
Brendon even suggested we return for breakfast because he believed their breakfasts were the very best around. We took his advice and returned for breakfast. It was amazing. The egg burritos are excellent. The fruit is fresh. The Bloody Marys delicious. Cabo Wabo….we’ll be back. Thank you.

First of all, Cabo is located in a great spot. It has a very easy access to the strip street.
The food was delicious, fresh, and fair price. The portion was enough for a very hungry person.
I recommend it.

If heaven had a happy hour, it would taste exactly like these margaritas. Perfect balance—fresh lime bite, smooth tequila warmth, and just enough sweetness to make you question every other margarita you’ve ever had. One sip in and you’re already plotting your second (and third). Pair that with finger food so good it should be illegal—crispy, flavorful, and somehow light enough that you convince yourself you’re not overeating (spoiler: you are, and you don’t care). Every bite is a little victory, every sip is a reminder you’re on the Strip living your best life. Easily the best margaritas and finger food combo in Las Vegas—come hungry, leave blissfully stuffed, and already planning your return.

Great resturant and bar with live music. Be sure to check the prices in USA dollars compared to pesos. A bottle of water is $20 and the drinks are quite a bit more.

I’m eaten at a lot for the expensive high quality places on the strip after 4 trips, and numerous weeks strolling. CaboWabo is my Favourite destination on the strip for bottomless mimosas, a long late brunch, people watching, great service. The steak and eggs…oh my golly!!
Just around amazing value and fun!
Only downside for some would be it’s very very loud, but makes for the atmosphere!
Thanks Cabo Wabo!
