Rang ahead and booked table for 3, when we went to order staff were told that we were dining in.
After an hour after ordering we asked where our pizzas were and they were sitting in takeaway boxes on counter god knows for how long and were cold, soggy and minimal topping.
Took them back in and blondie behind the counter said in a smart manner I thought they were takeaway.
Obviously there is lack of communication between customers and staff.
This is not the first time we’ve been here and had wrong pizzas given to us but kept coming back thinking a miracle might happen and won’t be coming back again
The phone manner from the staff needs some training and some customer service training wouldn’t go astray.

Spoke to owner regarding his pizza’s and he was instantly arrogant.
To the pizzas: weird, flavourless, bitter profile, but base was okay, I got the “Very popular” Meat Lovers. I would rather pay for a slightly higher price from La Madrina at VP than eat that doo doo again…

Had pizza here a few times, it’s hit and miss. The last time we had pizza it was average to say the least. Base was rubbery and flat., topping’s were flavourless. Ordered a BBQ chicken and it came with tomato base no bacon but tasted like rosemary. Seafood pizza had can prawns and no love or flavour. The gluten free bass was like eating a teflon cutting board. Average to say the least considering it’s not a hard task to cook a pizza.

Excellent pizzas with a lovely crispy thin base, fresh toppings and piping hot. The cosy Phoenix bar serves a good range of beers and spirits. A wonderful place to have a couple of drinks and a top quality pizza.

Tried three times to order pizza once by their website(pickup), once by Uber Eats and once after phoning and complaining. No luck. Carefactor of staff (after escalation) was lack luster, however good quality pizzas when you can get them.

The owner spoke to another patron about an old lady saying ‘don’t talk to the animals’. The owner was drinking behind the bar that night. The old lady was shocked and when she asked for an explanation he just ignored her I was shocked and thought they might have had some sort of history but regardless the whole interaction was unprofessional and the pizzas aren’t great.

By far some of the best Pizza I have had. I would recommend to anyone that is in the Mt Cotton area to seriously buy local and get some amazing fresh quality food in you. Defiantly worth the drive if you are not from the area!!
Edit from 22. Just found out that if you dine in you can get a dessert pizza. Amazing check that for a must have.
