This is a great family restaurant and kid friendly. The portion sizes are huge and reasonably priced and the staff is very friendly. My only critique would be the cleanliness of the restaurant it is clean but many things you can tell are dirty and need cleaned. The bathroom was very messy when we went. Other than that issue I would highly recommended for families. The menu is huge and has so many options for everyone!

Pretty good, but not excellent food. The French onion soup was the best and I would even say very good. The cube steak, potatoes and sandwich pretty good. The service was really good. The gentleman that started with us was either ending his shift or going on break and he handed us off very professionally. The waitress that took over took ownership and did an excellent job. The service bumps the rating to 4*.

Today was our first time visiting and while the food was delicious, other areas were rocky. I ordered the honey dipped chicken and the pieces were crazy small for the price. The one was almost a chicken nugget with a bone in it. I had no clue what part of the chicken it really was. What I thought was a thigh was actually white meat, it was so tiny. The leg was the size of my thumb. I was also given a small side salad (I guess?) But no dressing to go with it. We were never offered refills. Our waitress was running around like she had no clue what she was supposed to do, while the other waitress was picking up the slack cleaning and helping customers. The other waitress even took our dirty plates. We liked the food, but may give it a few months before we try to come back.

What a gem of a Diner. It’s not the typical diner the food and service is what you would find at many high end type places. Tonight I stopped by and had the steak stir fry and I must say it was delicious. My waitress Bethany conned me into a slice of cheesecake. It was probably some of the best that I ever had. Stop by and have a slice you won’t be disappointed. Great service, amazing menu options, and old school country music playing made for a great experience.

This place was just ok, the dining area was clean and in fair condition, staff was friendly. The food was acceptable but nothing really great, visited for breakfast. Ordered the eggs Benedict and was pretty disappointed, one egg was poached the correct amount and the other was way over cooked until it was hard boiled and solid, didn’t end up eating that one. The hollandaise tasted like pure butter and was very thick and congealed, the potatoes were extremely bland and heavy salt didn’t even help. Overall the food was just not great. Prices were not too high though…

This was my first time visiting this place. We had put it off due to the constant business of the parking lot. Don’t let that deceive you like it did me. It’s a large open space with LOTS of seating. There is a bar, which I’m unsure if that’s open. But there’s a wonderful dessert display on top of the already amazing menu items. We were also thrilled to see a place like this running local contests. Keep an eye open for their fathers day give away coming up!

This place is amazing! We had a fresh, plentiful, flavorful breakfast! Alyssa was our server and was so nice, fast and professional yet relaxed. Most interesting part is that one side is a diner and the other side is a pub! Where do you ever see that? It’s right next to two hotels and the Mall, close to the outlets and highway access. Yes it is set back a little bit, but just drive the crazy zig zags to get there and you won’t regret it. The place was packed and the food was fantastic. Just go, you’ll really be surprised. We will be back for sure!

Great quiet restaurant with excellent food and reasonably low prices. Their burgers are juicy and delicious and their desserts are to die for. There are many varieties of cheesecakes and desserts that are big enough for at least two servings. The staff are extremely friendly and very attentive.

Went to the Valley Mall Family Diner for the first time this past weekend. I definitely enjoyed myself here. The restaurant was clean and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Our waitress was great and kept our large party very informed regarding the progress of our orders. We were never left wandering what was going on. I ordered the Chesapeake Burger (pictured below). It was definitely solid. As you can see the burger was covered in cheddar cheese and these was a generous portion of crab meat. The taste was very good. The bun was a little plain but I still enjoyed the burger. It was cooked a little too much for my liking, probably medium well. I always order medium. Got the standard chips with the burger but you can order fries. The coleslaw on the side was very good. It was sweet and creamy. The prices are very fair. Next time I go I will likely get the Hungry Man Burger. Enjoy.
