Vallarta’s Mexican Restaurant delivers a great dining experience. The food was incredibly fresh, and both the tacos and burrito were excellent—full of flavor and clearly made with quality ingredients. Service was friendly, attentive, and made the meal even more enjoyable. Definitely a solid spot in Wesley Chapel and one I’d happily return to. ✨

My wife says the tacos here are the best she has ever had! My carnitas were good, though there was some fat in it. Service was very good, our waitress was helpful in explaining our choices and guiding us through the menu. This was our third visit, with many more to come!

My wife & I were craving some Mexican food and came across this restaurant on Google. When I tell you I’m so glad we chose to go. S/O to our waiter – Wilson. Amazing customer service – 10 out of 10. The food was amazing and came out fast. This place was jammed packed but it didn’t take a long time for us to be seated. I highly recommend this location. We definitely will be coming back. They give you a big portion for a great price. Excellent all around.

My wife and I have been regulars at Vallarta’s for the past two years, and it’s hands down our go-to spot for authentic Mexican food in the area. The food is consistently delicious, with generous portions and prices that are more than fair; perfect for a great meal without breaking the bank.

The staff is always incredibly friendly, welcoming us like family every time we walk in. It’s the kind of place that makes you feel at home, whether you’re dining in or grabbing something to-go.

I recently tried their new Birria Tacos, and wow…just wow. The meat was perfectly tender and juicy, smothered in rich, melted cheese, and paired with a consommé that had an unbeatable umami flavor.

If you’re craving authentic, flavorful Mexican food with great service and value, Vallarta’s is the spot. Highly recommend!

15 dollars a plate for a sad pile of cheese with a tiny sliver of chile, that they deceptively call a chile relleno. They tried to convince me I just didn’t know what this dish is. My wife got a chimichanga. What came out was a heaping mound of lettuce and cheese concealing the tiniest, saddest chimichanga I’ve ever seen. She ate it in two bites. This place sucks, and their menu is misleading.

Vallarta in Wesley Chapel continues to impress! This big, vibrant restaurant offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere, with daily happy hour deals that are hard to beat. Their extensive menu has something for everyone — and at very reasonable prices.

The staff is always friendly, and the service is fast and efficient, which makes the dining experience even better. We’ve been here before, and it’s consistently great. The chips and salsa are served right when you arrive and so fresh.

This time, we ordered the parrillada — a meat lover’s dream! It came loaded with an incredible variety of meats and plenty of sides, all packed with flavor. We also got the chicken parrilla, which was a perfect, no-fuss option for our kid and still left us with tons of leftovers. In fact, with just two main dishes, we had more than enough food to bring home.

The portions are generous, the food is delicious, and the value is unbeatable. Vallarta is definitely one of our go-to spots, and we recommend!

Ok I always go here no problems ever they are actually really good but this day my tacos had the longest price of hair in it I was mortified vs offering a refund she offered to remake the tacos like what why would I want them remade like I’m just like ok so yall
Didn’t believe what had happened or yall just didn’t care but any who I know my lil coins won’t affect yall business but I’m gonna take a break from here to spend 41.00 dollars find hair nothing was offered other than a remake.

Calling all those without taste buds…
Disappointing Experience and Serious Concerns

We visited this restaurant with high hopes, but unfortunately, our experience fell far short of expectations. The carne asada was incredibly bland—no salt, pepper, or any seasoning to speak of. The beans tasted like they were simply boiled, and the overall dishes lacked the bold and vibrant flavors typically associated with authentic Mexican cuisine. The only dish our party of four enjoyed was the birria tacos.

When we raised the issue with the manager, they admitted that sometimes they “forget” to season the food, which was surprising and disappointing. In fairness, they did offer a discount for the uneaten dish, which we appreciated.

However, what made the situation worse was that on our way home, our 3-year-old—who had only eaten the beans and some pineapple juice—became ill and vomited. I called the restaurant to inform them, not to place blame but to give them a heads-up. Unfortunately, the response was dismissive, suggesting it “must have been something else” he ate.

This experience left us feeling not just dissatisfied, but genuinely concerned. While the restaurant has thousands of reviews, I believe it caters to a specific crowd that may not be familiar with the rich, flavorful profile of traditional Mexican food. I hope this feedback is taken constructively, as we always want to support local businesses that take pride in what they serve.

Excellent service and delicious food. Everything is huge and two can probably share. Known for their tasty Margarita! Everything is delicious!! They were out of the fried ice cream so we had the Flan for dessert and it was amazing. The location is great and it is very clean. A bit pricey but worth it.
