Amazing Mexican restaurant! My wife and I stopped here to get something to eat after fishing with our son, we had a burrito. The burrito was huge, it fed both of us and there was a good portion left. It came with chips and salsa as well. Nice Mexican atmosphere. Fair pricing for the portion size. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Service was extremely quick. Highly recommend eating heat of you’re in Park Rapids.

My bro invited me up to visit and he took me here. His Dad and him had helped work on the place. Absolutely great atmosphere. Authentic Mexican food and awesome staff. I got this huge burrito and was outstanding. Highly recommend this place. If I lived up there probably make it a habit to eat here once a week. Love Hispanic and Latino culture. Well represented here. Thanks for the delicious food.

Really nice atmosphere! The staff is super quick and polite! Food is delicious! The margarita, I would not recommend. Everything else was really good. Their portions are huge for the amount that you pay! Definitely had to take the food home!

Our chicken and shredded beef chimichangas were excellent!! Full of flavor! Our server was kind and the food came out very quick! First time eating here but the next time we are staying in Park Rapids this will be a must again. High quality furnishings with good prices!

Awkward but tasty sums our visit. Upon entering, we encountered an empty bar and were confused about where to go. Went down a flight of steps where it appeared we were outside the kitchen. After some Spanish exchanges among the staff, we were led to a comfortable booth. We were immediately presented with a basket of warm chips and a small carafe of salsa. Like all Mexican eateries, you must ask for extra napkins. The chips had a great crunch factor and just the right amount of salt. The meals were served hot and portion sizes were outstandingly huge – served on platters the size of two dinner plates. The food was comparable to the Mexican food I’ve had in Texas. This place has tables for 12 and seems family oriented. If you order extra sour cream, expect to pay an additional $2. Extra charges apply to using a credit card. But you don’t pay at the table – they have a cashier. Awkward moments aside, I would return.

The staff was very friendly. Very nice and clean dining area. The food was delicious and huge portions. We all had to bring some home as we couldn’t eat the amount we were served. We will definitely be back anytime we are un the area.

Everything was authentic.
From the margaritas to the fajitas and carne asada.
The plan was to take photos of everything to share but as fast as it arrived, we were digging in. We HIGHLY recommend Vallartas Mexican Grill and we will definitely be back.

Really friendly staff and absolutely gigantic portions! The supper menu portions were huge. Really really good burritos and mochajete. The staff doesn’t know English super well, but they make it work! Service was friendly and prompt.
