The inside is absolutely gorgeous have to firstly add and the workers are all so nice and hospitable.
The food is so delicious the prices are not bad for the amount of food you get.
And you get free chips and Salsa the salsa is so good and has a nice kick to it.
We didn’t have to wait long at all for our food once we ordered.
Definitely recommend this restaurant they are always busy as well! So that also shows how good a restaurant they are in my opinion.

This is a nice choice for a good Mexican place to dine. The restaurant is clean and bright with plenty of room. They have a bar and large screen tvs for your viewing pleasure.

Service is good with back of house delivering quick delicious entrees and the bar slinging some serious margaritas. Be careful with the jumbo it’s about a quart! But you’ll only need one.

I’m going to come and make the claim – Best Mexican I’ve ever had! I am a Brit who was on his travels but I’ve tried my fair share of Mexicans! This place gets top marks for me!

So authentic and the food was divine! Good atmosphere, good service, reasonable price – Nothing really to complain about! 5/5 for me! Couldn’t help but get every last bit out in the photo!

The food is usually pretty good, especially the salsa and cheese dip. I almost always get the flautas but the past two times have been disappointing. Upon opening 3 of the 4 flautas I discovered the reason why. There was maybe a teaspoon of meat and nothing else except for a fried tortilla and one small slice of carrot. I will not order this item again. Hopefully this isn’t a new trend.

The seafood soup was made with frozen food. The octopus was not well-cooked, crab meat is the cheapest in the market which is made of plastic. If you order the soup my advice will be to ask for shrimp soup not seafood

On my recent trip to Pensacola, I had one mission: taste the best of what the local food scene had to offer. I landed at Vallarta Mexican Grill, and from the moment I saw the menu, I knew I was in for a treat—it’s stacked with flavorful plates to satisfy any craving.

I went bold and picked the Camarones a la Diabla—shrimp drenched in a fiery red sauce with yellow rice, vibrant mixed veggies, and sides that brought the whole dish together. One bite in, and I knew this wasn’t just Dinner… it was a culinary event. Spicy, savory, and absolutely addictive. Honestly, you could eat it with your fingers and not regret a thing.

The flavors, the presentation, even the cool vibes of the place—all on point. If you’re in Pensacola and want something that hits hard in the taste department, Vallarta Mexican Grill is where it’s at.

This place is great. Tacos shells are perfectly crispy but not too thick, doesn’t fall apart when you bite into it. The salsa is delicious, just the right amount of heat. It’s a huge place, looks as if it may have been a car dealership in the past. The server was attentive and had a great smile. I’m definitely going to be a regular customer.

I tried their take out two times both on a Sunday. First order they forgot one of my quesadillas so I had to sit around waiting for it while the rest of my order got cold. The beef tacos had zero seasoning in the meat. It was just cooked ground beef with not even a speck of chilies, garlic, paprika… nothing. The shells were soaking wet to where I just used chips to eat the filling. The chile rellenos were chewy and soggy. The enchilada had no cheese in it and no sause in or over the top. The shrimp quesadilla was just frozen shrimp that wasn’t even seasoned or grilled like it used to be and the chicken one dripping wet. Watery beans and unseasoned rice.

Second week’s was disgusting and ended up in the trash. I ordered the queso and 2 of the pick 3 meal and they didn’t put any beans or rice in the chicken bean and rice burritos. The rellenos were in a puddle of water. There wasn’t any cheese in it and the chicken quesadilla was sopping wet with no cheese in it. They didn’t even use burrito shells for the burritos they just used the small taco shells and filled it like a taco and threw it in the tray. Same for the enchilada from the first time we ordered. And mind you on both orders they shorted me chips. I ordered a large salsa and queso on the first order and a queso on second order and wasn’t given the extra chips that comes with the $10 purchases for these items.

I was severely disappointed as I had been at work all day looking forward to the meal. I also work in a kitchen and would die of embarrassment if I send food out that was of this quality for the prices being charged here.

When I called and asked to speak to the manager there she told me that when they’re busy I should check my food before I leave to make sure they made it right because it happens quiet a bit. Definitely not coming back if that is the case. I shouldn’t have to deconstruct all of my food at the bar with my bare hands before leaving. Mind you they cram it all in 1 bag and tie the handle too. She refunded me $30 of my $51 I spend which it honestly should have been a full refund beings I told her this was my second bad experience here. The only thing that was edible were the chips, queso, and salsa. I’ve had better Mexican food at a taco bell. Save yourself the hassle. I think this may have switched owners because this is not the Vallarta I once loved so much. There is no quality control here. The food is sloppy, low quality, unseasoned, and they cut corners shorting you on your quantities and ingredients. Pictured is my chili rellenos in a puddle of water. Both of them were like this and they spilled on everything else in the bag.
