I’ll start of by saying, the reviews are true! I’m a pancake and burger guy and both items highly satisfied my cravings and appetite. The pancakes were so good, you don’t even need any syrup. They say you can tell if the BBQ is good if you don’t need any BBQ sauce. Well that same logic applies here! the burger meat was pretty good quality beef. Not salty my at all. I would grab this burger over any chain fast food restaurant any day. Just my preference, I like my meat heavily seasoned. And it was still satisfying to my taste buds! Also the veggies were fresh, the buns were fresh as well. Friendly, and inviting establishment and service! I would definitely come back here for sure!!! Support the locals and small businesses. WE the people and WE need each other! also I got my food to go and I ate it a bit later. So the butter did melt on the pancakes. Overall 10/10 experience

I absolutely love Valerie’s Diner!! I live in Piedmont and Mrs. Valerie is the absolute sweetest person! Very nice and vibrant!. The food is an absolute down home country cooking and healthy, seasoned perfectly, serving size is proper…You don’t want to miss out Reminds me of my Granny’s cooking…and please don’t miss that homemade Vanilla cake with the homemade white icing Thank you so much! I’m traveling for work and I stopped here for breakfast based on the recommendation from a local. It’s the definition of a treasured hole in the wall restaurant that you’d have to be a local to know about. It wasn’t fancy food, but it was good food. Delicious. What was really striking was the atmosphere. It was like I had just gone to someone’s kitchen to hang out and eat. Everyone there knew each other and talked and so did the owner who was also the cook and the waitress and she did all those things perfectly and simultaneously somehow. She was able to mix up my omelette while discussing local goings on with a patron without skipping a beat. An old guy comes in and just goes to the coffee and pours himself a cup. Another patron does the same and offers me a refill. It’s like you just walked into some family’s kitchen and now they’re your family too. But you get to leave and never see them again if you don’t want to. And you don’t have to do the dishes or feel guilty about it. Great experience overall.

Supercool little hidden away nugget. Valerie and her daughter were serving it up and engaging in this quaint venue. A guest, I assumed to be a regular, had actually covered my bill by the time I went to pay. What a nice surprise that was!?

Valerie’s is what I’ve come to love about mom and pop type Diners. The food was low priced, high quality and plentiful. The ladies were super friendly and personable. I have nothing bad to say about the diner, I on the other hand have the problem, the food was so good that I don’t have a big enough belly for all of it. 5 stars all the way. We will be going back.
