Pretty good place to go to grab a quick pizza meal. Staff is always in a good mood when I go there.

I haven’t ordered Valentino’s pizza for years because I thought it was too pricey. My buddy mentioned a deal from Mon- Wed so I placed an order last night. I was very very pleased!! I placed order easily online, and it was ready within 30 min which was awesome because it was late. I did a jumbo for my kids and a mini for myself. Apparently the mini is so small it’s basically a kid’s meal, but I was fortunate they’re my mini a small instead. That was great! I was really happy with my topping options because I could add cream cheese. Not every place has it so I get it when I can. The pizzas were both perfectly covered with cheese and toppings from edge to edge. Most pizza places easily fail to do this resulting in sole less than satisfying pieces. To make things better, leftover pizza always ducks because the crust is too hard. Pizza hut, Ramos, dominoes, and little Cesar’s are the worst. I was really happy to warm some pizza up this morning and it tastes just as good as it did last night. The crust isn’t hard at all! Not even the edge pieces! I usually don’t care for the crusts of pizza but Valentinos isn’t tough in the slightest. Looking forward to ordering again, as well as making this our go to for pizza.

This place is absolutely horrible and the staff is terrible. I live 8 blocks from this location and they won’t deliver to me which is completely ridiculous but ok. I say fine I’ll just come pick the order up. They then tell me that I can’t get a carry out order here and that I have to call the 17th and south location to get a pizza and then hung up on me. This is the second bad experience at this location. The first time I came into pick up a pizza and the order was wrong and they argued with me about it and were very reluctant to give me what I ordered. I get things happen so I thought I’d give them another chance but, after this experience I’ll be spending my money elsewhere from now on.

Still pretty good, but be sure whatever you order, ask for it “well done” for a better experience. The conveyor ovens they now use are often inconsistent & set too fast, so getting it well done will ensure its fully cooked. Lunch express is still good value, and being in a line or having to wait a bit is a good thing; this means you’re much more likely to get a fresh pizza. At its best it still tastes like you remember, but undercooked it tastes like a collection of ingredients rather than a pizza. The next decade will be telling, can they maintain quality? Or will it continue its slow, steady decline?

Valentino’s was good. The location was nice. The staff p was nice and helpful. I wanted to ask a question and they were very prompt and knowledgeable. I didn’t like how they made pepperoni pizzas with pepperoni underneath the cheese. But that’s not a Valentino’s problem that’s just a preference.

If I could give a 0 star I would. Ordered 1 pizza…mind you 1 at 3:15pm on a Wednesday. The delivery app stated estimated time to deliver was 180 minutes? We figured…wow. That couldn’t possibly happen. Well it did. After waiting, decided to call the store. First time, no one answered the phone. Called back. Girl said can you hold and promptly put me on hold without me answering. Called back again. WOW. Someone answered and I asked to speak with the manager. He said…let me get her. Sat on hold forever. Called back. FINALLY. They answered and the manager “Melissa” got on the phone. Asked why and where our pizza was after almost 3 hours. She stated that it had not even been made yet. Seriously? Almost 3 hours later on a Wednesday mind you and it hadn’t even been made. When the hubby said we just want to cancel because your pizza isn’t that great anyway and there are other places in town, instead of trying to make things right? She hung up on him. Evidently “Melissa” should not be a manager because she has no idea what customer service is evidently. Didn’t even try to make things right. Lost a long time customer for sure. We will never…ever..order from them again. Ended up just making a couple frozen burritos. Epic fail.

Every time I’ve ordered from here it has taken longer than expected, the delivery driver and the person answering the phone was rude, and the pizza was cold and tasted off, like it had been frozen. Super disappointing. From now on I will go to the 70th and Van Dorn location and pickup rather than doing delivery from this place.
