I ordered Aunt Mary’s on Door Dash. I thought the rasta pasta was unnecessarily too spicy and the portion was small. The oxtails were decent. Mac and cheese, the noodles were overcooked but the flavor was good. Collard greens were a little bit salty. These two plates were $70. Totally not worth it

The food at the restaurant is extremely disappointing. It feels like no care or effort was put into preparing it. They also seem to have trouble following order instructions. The wings were completely soaked in sauce to the point of being inedible, and the rice underneath was ruined as a result. The green beans tasted bland, like they came straight from a can, and the mac and cheese was just bad. On the other hand, their food truck in New Castle is excellent. The food there is clearly made with care and attention to detail, both in flavor and presentation. You can really tell they put love into what they serve. Compared to that, the restaurant experience was awful—I couldn’t even finish the plate.

The gentleman working was amazing but that heffa in the back was a mean ol witch. She’s a very nasty person and will bring your sales down. The food was good. He was good. But I’ll never come back.

Atmosphere and service is very good. The food did not taste good at all – not at all. We purchased platters: Fried chicken (1 breast – cut in half and red in color), fish – was not bad. Sides: greens – bland and sugary, string beans – canned and bland, cabbage – dark brown and inedible, broccoli – had a fake artificial garlic butter taste, canned yams with little to none candied syrup, macaroni and cheese – blah, potato salad – soupy with clam chowder consistency – inedible, and corn muffins the color of banana bread. Since the review asked, I will share that I do not recommend any of the food.

All the main and side dishes were delicious but there is no where to dine. Waiting area is small and hot. Walked in and ordered, we waited 40mins for 4 plates. Ppl who go one plate after us all go theirs before us smh.

Food is delicious, it is takeout only. I ordered the 10 PC jumbo shrimp with Mac & cheese, and collard greens. My family ordered chicken wings, mac & cheese, fries. Everyone enjoyed the food, we will absolutely be ordering again!

The food was FANTASTIC!

Our only issue was out of everything we ordered the fried cabbage wasn’t the best and the cornbread muffins were dry.
There was not an eating area just a pick-up window.
The food was too GOOD not to eat at a table…

This is $50 worst of food!! The portions are insanely small, the food tastes like nothing but grease and salt, the fries tasted like they were cold the heated up. They also say the foods made to order but our order was done in 5 mins. Just save your money if it was even decent I wouldn’t have said anything but this is crazy

So I ordered the Turkey Wings well done with spicy honey garlic with the mac and cheese , yams and green beans and EVERYTHING was Delicious literally . Happy New years and 5 star experience .

A soul food place starts off with five stars always. Soul food is normally very awesome.
Sadly, this place loses a couple of stars for the following reasons:
For starters, their pickup process needs a little bit of help. I waited a good long time before I was even able to ask to pick up my order that they had called me about.
Secondly, salt overtakes their main dishes. Both the stuffed fish and rasta pasta were way too salty.
The sides were decent. The mac and cheese and cabbage were good. The beans and beef was sweet but tasty. The little corn bread muffins had a touch of cinnamon and were good.
One final note is their $1.50 convenience fee. You can’t order by phone, and must order online. So I’m not sure where the convenience comes in.
Too much salt to try again.
