Alas, I will never be able to post a picture of a whole Valentino’s pizza because the second it’s in my hands, half of it mysteriously disappears into my mouth. 😀 Valentino’s is a local gem in Nebraska. I have so many fond memories of this pizza place. The sauce is sweet and savory, the crust has just the right amount of crunch…the cheese…is so good. Everything about this pizza is right.

This location always has good food never been late never had any issues food wise. This evening August 19th 2025 I go into pick up my online order. Stood by the counter for a moment or two. The manager wearing a blue shirt started walking towards me and I assumed he was going help me out with my pickup order or at least acknowledge me. He couldn’t be bothered you could absolutely tell he didn’t want to be there and it really set the tone for the place. After another moment the counter person came up and helped me out. I say all of this as a person who has worked out of Valentino’s to go for years in my younger days. At least be happy to see people walking through the door we are the ones who pay your salary bud.

I placed an order for dine in, Mostaccioli individual. The cashier obviously entered it for takeout. I sat in the dinning room waiting for over 20 minutes, before going up to check on it. Cashiers had changed, the current cashier looked up my name. My food was sitting on their warmer in a takeout package. The manager wouldn’t even acknowledge me, and I received a lame “sorry” from the current cashier.
This is the third time that I’ve a problem at this location, I’ll never stop at this location again.

Probably the worst dining experience I’ve ever had. Most of the staff was rude and unhelpful, after paying $18 for two decent salads, I ordered a small 4 slice pizza and was also charged over $18 for that pathetically small serving.
So the worlds smallest personal pan pizza, two drinks and a couple of salads for $40
Lastly, why even have a dine in option if you have to order whole pizzas?! Not a single option for individual slices anywhere on the menu.
Last time I went to a Valentino’s it was a buffet. This “dine in” experience is a joke and they got rid of their best dessert pizza…

Loved the new (to me) thin crust, however the salad was not good. The mix of tomatoes and banana peppers were spoiled, not any of that was edible. I tossed out some of the lettuce for the same reason. We were gathering for Christmas with friends from out of town. They always want to have Val’s.

The first and last time I went to Valentino’s!! How can I explain this? Trying their food was like going to Walmart, getting some tomato sauce, and adding it to some precooked spaghetti from the dollar store. Not a good experience at all.
