We went here for breakfast. First off, the food here is phenomenal. Great flavor. But unfortunately, I’m going to have to break this 5 star streak due to customer service.

This is a cute, quaint place. Clearly a heartfelt small business. The food is intentionally put together.

I must of came on a day that they were short staffed or the young man that was on the floor as our server wasn’t a server, but had to be that day.

When we arrived, we were immediately sat by one of the bussers. At the same, another party was being sat as well. They received menus and we did not. I went up to the hostess stand and asked for menus, no problem.

He took our order then the service started going downhill. I ordered black coffee and had to ask for it again 10 minutes after. It still took a long time an he brought it out with cream. He asked my partner if he wanted water then did not come back with it until we asked again. That still took a long time.

The food was brought out. We ordered two entrees, mine with toast. He forgot my partners toast and never brought it out even though we saw it sitting in the counter. Doesn’t every entree with eggs come with toast??

There was another lady there clearing off a larger table. She didn’t seem to be checking on any other tables around her even though it was obvious that the young man serving us had zero experience.

I used to own a restaurant, so I tend to notice a lot of details. The restaurant was about 75% full and many of the mistakes made were simple. Prioritization is key when serving at any restaurant.

Like I said, the food was AWESOME. It’s a shame that the service wasn’t great.

Incredible food at this super casual cafe in a strip mall. My wife and I stopped by around 11am on a Saturday and there was no wait, unbelievable for such a great spot. Service was helpful and on top of it. We had 2 rounds of pomegranate and cranberry/orange mimosas. I’m a huge breakfast burrito guy and mine was top 3 all time for me. The homemade salsas were amazing! This spot is a gem.

My friend and I visited Napa for the wine train tour and discovered this adorable, quaint, family owned restaurant. Upon chatting with the host, we discovered it’s named after their 6 year old daughter, Valentina. The food is so good we chose breakfast here two of the 3 mornings we were in town. The owners, David and Blanca, have established a gem that we plan to make an annual trip for, mind you, we’re from Indianapolis, IN. Add this to your list. You won’t be disappointed!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great service and a wonderful dining experience. The food was delicious, fresh, and full of flavor. Although the seating area is a bit cozy, once seated it feels comfortable and adds to the restaurant’s warm and inviting atmosphere.

The staff was friendly, attentive, and welcoming, making the experience even more enjoyable. The overall environment feels comforting and relaxed, making it a great place to enjoy a meal with family or friends.

I highly recommend this spot and look forward to visiting again.

An amazing place to visit! It’s about a 25-minute drive from Napa. The food is truly delicious and beautifully presented. I had a traditional guarache with tofu, nopales, and black beans. I also enjoyed a coffee—they even offer café de olla, which is a great touch.

There are definitely lots of options on the menu. I’ll be coming back to try their selection of hamburgers!

Had a Saturday brunch here with friends and the food and service was great. Sat outside win the good weather. Seems you can enter from either side of the building. Majority of their tables are 2 or 4 seaters. I had the steak and eggs while my wife had the churro waffles and our friends had the egg benedict. The food was good. They supposed have chicken and waffles which I’ll probably try next time.

The restaurant is open Friday to Monday 8-2pm.

A very pleasant place to enjoy an excellent breakfast. The food is fresh. I tried some chilaquiles and they were delicious, accompanied by a cup of pot coffee. The staff was very friendly. Yolanda served me, always attentive and smiling, and the manager, David, and his wife, made sure everyone was served. I will definitely return.

I am late to the party in praising this local eatery.

I have the highest praise for Valentina’s Mexican coffee with cinnamon and cloves, Cafe de la Olla. Add in their Churro Waffle and you have the perfect coffee break/ dessert! PSA: Skip Starbucks if you can wait until 8am for coffee. It’s worth the wait.

For breakfast we had Chorizo Potato Tacos with Eggs and Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict. Don’t forget to try Valentina’s home brewed, aged-to-perfection salsas 🙂 Perfect breakfast for normal (flavored) and caliente foodies.

Will be back to try their lunch menu 🙂
