Amazing food and great value!
I had a fantastic experience at Vaishnav Thali. The samosa and khandvi were delicious and perfectly made, and the sweets were some of the best I’ve had — fresh, flavorful, and just right on sweetness. The quality of the food is excellent, and everything is offered at a very reasonable price. The service was friendly and the overall experience was warm and enjoyable. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for great Indian vegetarian food. Will definitely be coming back!

Food was terrible and the wait time is ridiculous.
Everything tasted very sweet and ambience is also very unwelcoming.
Ordered gujarati thali – dal and curries were so sweet, i thought i was eating curry dessert. It had no salt and no taste to it.
Owner should be put in jail for charging $17.99 for food like this. Icing on the cake is Spanish people are cooking Indian food.
I don’t know what other people ordered to leave such positive reviews but it was certainly not my experience.
Rotis and thepla were definitely fresh. This is the only good part about this restaurant.

Overall I give this 4 stars.. the atmosphere isn’t winning any awards. It’s kinda sticky and just meh. But, if you’re there for the food, you’ll find some gems.
We really enjoyed the dabeli and vada pav – those were solid! The thali itself was a mixed bag. The 4 subzis were all pretty average. But the poori and farsan were surprisingly good.
Basically, go for the snacks and farsan, skip the ambience expectations, and you’ll probably leave happy enough.

Small place, but excellent food… We tried all the Thalis in our group and enjoyed it. The vegetables were cooked very well and did not have the stereotypical taste.
Definitely recommend trying this place for fresh and tasty food

Wonderful food .. so homely and tasty. Presented very well. Found the place neat and clean and the options were just great. If you are a vegetarian, you would not want to miss this gem of a place. I had the Kathiyawadi Thali which thankfully was not oily (like the other Kathiyawadi places) and don’t miss the Khandvi and Chhas.. Too good. Must also mention the very helpful Ram who helped me with the selections and was so thoughtful. Sachin and his Mom prepare all the food and are great hosts. Loved the experience ..

Service was very slow, they appeared to be busy on the phone with catering orders. Two of us ordered the exact same thali but got different vegetables and one got dal-chawal and the other got kadhi-khichdi. The khichdi was dry and stale, not the authentic moong-dal khichdi as expected. Gulab jamun were hot and tasty. They didn’t serve any chutneys with the farsan which was very sour and lacked any tempering. It’s very overpriced for the quality and ambiance, you can get much better food for cheaper in NJ.

We ordered food from vaisnav thali for our office event! Food was delicious, more than 100 people tried their item and everyone was asking .. where did you get the food !!!
Quality , quantity of food was good. Will definitely going to order the food from here.
Also shop owner is communicative and work with your time to make your event successful.
Moreover, their price is all aspect considerably low if we compare the quality of food get.
Highly recommend for any catering or dine in here !

Did we drive over an hour to get to this humble place for food? You best believe we did and we were not disappointed! The small intimate no frills restaurant reminded me of home instantly. As we walked in the sweetest woman hand-making fresh laddus asked “order che?” While I don’t know a word of Gujarati- I was instantly reminded of my grandmother’s kitchen. We ordered the Vaishnav thaali which itself was so beautifully arranged that I felt bad digging into it. The food was fresh and most obviously the best vegetarian Indian food I have had in New York or New Jersey. The poori and rotis were freshly made, piping hot and smothered in ghee. The vegetables were low on oil and simply spiced- truly letting the vegetables shine. The daal was comfort food and the aloo tikki had the perfect crunch on the outside and softness on the inside.
I cannot recommend this place enough- we packed up some food for the week and headed home, stomaches full and heart content.
