This place has authentic and delicious Maharashtrian food. Everything we ordered felt so fresh and tasted as if it was home-made. The owner and the staff were so sweet. I highly recommend this place. Would love to revisit. I really liked their vada pav and ragda patties.

Our order started with Thecha which looked really good, and was tasty. It hyped up our expectations. The Misal paav and Ragda Patties didn’t looks as great, but tastes good.

The favorite was Shrikhand puri plate. The aalu sabji was very authentic, and the puris looked great.

The menu is also very unique. They have pictures for each dish, and the dishes from our order looked similar to that in pics.

Vadapav Mirchi is hands down one of the best places in town for authentic Maharashtrian flavors!

We’ve tried so many dishes here, and every single one has been absolutely delicious and full of authentic taste. Their Vada Pav is truly out of this world perfectly spiced, crispy on the outside, and soft inside, just like you’d get in Mumbai. The Thali Pith is another must-try wholesome, flavorful, and cooked to perfection.

We also tried their Aaloo Poori, which reminded us of homemade comfort food soft, fluffy pooris with deliciously spiced aloo sabzi. Their Sabudana Vada is super crispy yet soft inside, and pairs so well with the chutney. And don’t miss their Masala Papad, it’s the perfect crunchy, tangy starter to kick off your meal.

Recently, we also tried their Diwali snacks, and they were so fresh, tasty, and beautifully packed, perfect for festive gifting or enjoying at home.

Overall, Vadapav Mirchi has become our go-to spot for authentic Maharashtrian snacks and meals. The quality, consistency, and warmth in service make the experience even better. Highly recommend this gem to anyone craving real Indian street food flavors in Vancouver! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Visited VadaPav Mirchi by Geeta in New Westminster and loved it. The décor gives proper Mumbai vibes, and the staff and owners are warm and welcoming.
We had the Puri Bhaji Basundi combo (with puris, bhaji, pakoras, and basundi), a side of Baingan Bharta, refreshing Mango Shakes, and the Classic Vada Pav. Everything tasted authentic, and the Vada Pav genuinely reminded me of Mumbai.
Great service, good seating, and no negatives at all. Highly recommend!

Most authentic Vada pav you can find.

There are two variants in their Vada pav: 1 the original and 2 Urban Vada pav. For most I’d suggest to go with the urban Vada pav.

If you want to explore more authentic dishes: 1. Misal Pav 2. Bakri

Truth be told, I loved their Puri bhaji as well.

We have visited the most popular marathi restaurant and it was our first time in Vancouver as well as marathi restaurant. We changed 2 trains and 2 buses to reach the location. We ordered puran puri thali, missal pau, and vada pau. The taste was amazing and so authentic marathi. When we thanked the chef for delicious food and it was my mom’s bday, she was so kind and gave us shrikhad as birthday gifts i love the vibes and hospitality and kindness you can feel in this space Thank you for amazing experience.

We visited this restaurant yesterday evening for the first time. loved the food, it was soooo fresh and amazing. The server who assisted us named Varinda was very jolly and polite server. She explained us the food items very patiently, kept checking with us if we need anything. The fun part was they even shared bday cake of one of their staff with all of their customers. In short, it was ❤️ experience.

I visited this Maharashtrian restaurant for lunch with my friends, and I honestly didn’t expect it to feel this special. From the first bite, the food just took me back to that comforting, home-cooked feeling. Everything tasted so authentic and full of love.

The service made it even better. The staff was so warm and welcoming that we genuinely felt at home the entire time.

Being from North India, this was my first time trying authentic Maharashtrian food, and I can confidently say the experience couldn’t have been better. We don’t usually get access to this kind of authentic regional food on foreign lands, so it made the whole lunch even more special for me.

And specially the chai, I absolutely loved it. It was the perfect ending. I’d definitely go back
