Been meaning to try the Monday hamburger at V-Pizza. I keep getting the email and finally made my way there to give it a taste. The hamburgers were amazing. They are cooked in the pizza oven and when they come out they are very hot. The patty is made up of brisket, chuck and short rib. It is a juicy lovely burger. They have two standard burgers with a weekly special. The potato skin side is pretty good too. The bacon appears to be cooked in the wood burning oven and comes out crisp and chewy. I will definitely return for burgers, in addition to the great pizza.

I met with a group here on Saturday. They suggested the Sidecar half of the venue for the larger tables, quieter setting. We enjoyed the food and a huge shout out to the bartender, Ashley! She was able to make any drink we asked for and they were delicious!

My family and I were blown away by the quality of the food. The pizzas were fresh out of their authentic Italian wood fired ovens, topped with ingredients that just tasted… better. We ordered the Pepperoni Rustica and the Flyin’ Hawaiian.
After eating, I was further impressed by reading their prospectus (picture included) about quality and authenticity. Turns out one of the reasons their food is so good is that they make an effort to use the absolute highest quality ingredients.

Service and atmosphere is great and they did a great job of trying to rectify the situation. However the food has lost all quality and substance. The pizzas are shrinking drastically since they announced December 2024 they are changing their dough recipe. The pizzas look bleh and are no longer the true size being sold.

I had an absolutely amazing time with my mom and family of five. We ate three pieces. Make sure you get the meatball appetizer with bread. It was really good. Angelina was amazing. She was awesome. Make sure you go in and ask for Angelina! She was the coolest. I don’t think I’ve met another waitress. That was as cool as Angelina. She was so cool! And I will be back. I got some gelato on the way to go. That was really good too make sure you go and check them out amazing spot.

This pizza is legit! I just got back from Naples Italy and this pizza is the same high quality and great flavor as the best pizza I had there! The V chicken wings were cooked perfectly and tasted great. The tiramisu was not too sweet and made perfectly. It’s is on the pricey side but imported fresh Italian ingredients are expensive. Definitely worth the money! I’ll be going back soon!

I moved to Charleston for 4 years and recently returned to Jacksonville. Always did enjoy the pizza and Calabrian wings at V Pizza as well as the finely crafted cocktails at Sidecar and Julep. Well, went to the Gate Parkway location yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed the weekly special pizza and Calabrian wings, possibly even better than I remember. Really tasty food, great consistency in the product they deliver and friendly, attentive staff.
