This our second time coming here. We arrived just after opening & it was growing busy by noon. I ordered the bowl if chowder; lots of clams, rich, creamy & flavorful. My spouse had the black & blue; the meat was well seasoned. He added garlic to the side of tots, nice addition. The service was good, the gal was doing a great job tending to everyone.

Ordered the Taco Salad and Clam Chowder. Also, I got some iced tea at the bar. I really liked the tacos salad as the portion size was huge, and it was tasty.
Shiva, the bartender was great, and was attentive to my needs for more iced tea. She offered me and others at the bar the wings that someone else ordered but refused to take, which was really nice. Definitely recommend stopping by on a weekday night as it is less busy then.

Reviews looked good, so did the pics. Tried out this place Monday for a late lunch. It was very, very busy…we were wondering about how it would go as it was pretty packed and only a single bartender/ waitress for about a dozen tables plus another dozen or so at the bar. Didn’t have to wait long to meet Ashley. She took our drink orders and came back with drinks and took our food order. She was outstanding basically running the place on her own. And the chef in the kitchen consistently pumped out delicious food from what we could see and smell. Our food was excellent. Big burger and the Philly cheese steak. Thanks for exceeding our expectations.

Food is great, accusticks make it very loud, they need more help! One person is not enough! Had to wait for a drink, wait patiently to order something then wait to get a the bill !! People have to clear their own table! Terrible waiting time for everything !!!!

What happened to our river dog grille ?
We used to get the best pastrami sammy there. Had family visit from Colorado and talked the sammy up for dinner one night. What a disappointing dinner it was. I do have to say the tater tots were spot on, chrispy and hot ! And plenty of them !
But $17.00 a sandwich and tots, which i could see if there were pastrami on it. The meat didn’t even fill the bread. Sad just sad. Love the cheese it has great taste.
They used to come overflowing with pastrami and a lot less expensive.
Oh well, I guess it’s the time we live in.

Great atmosphere, good tunes, and awesome food thought pricy but once I ate lunch, plenty of food and delicious it was worth the price. Taco salad was good when mixed together the calamari was just ok taste breding more than the calamari and the Philly cdteak with mushrooms and green peppers was the bomb! Between 3 of us we spent $55 all in all I rate 4 out of 5

Never again. They peg outta-towners as you walk in. Then there prices more than double. It’s absurd! The food pics shown here, I bet they’re not from river dog. Besides being over charged, burgers and fries, not even close to good. Stick to BWW next door

First time and we loved it had a great waitress Sheba! Food was very good and very filling! We had fish and chips, our son had the western bacon cheeseburger.. I could’ve shared my plate with my husband!She made me a rootbeer vanilla cream soda that was DELICIOUS! Definitely a must when we come into town
