Fantastic Thai food and great service. I’ve been going there for around 10 years and they have some of the best food around. It’s unfortunate that it’s a little out of the way for most people, but to me it’s worth it. They yellow curry and spicy fish dishes are our personal favorite. Start with the spring rolls and end with the coconut ice cream and fried bananas.

I’ve eaten at V-Li’s several times and on every occasion my dinner has been absolutely spectacular. The decor is clean and pleasant, the food is extraordinary. The waitstaff is great. It’s one of the few authentic style Thai restaurants and I highly recommend them.

Was not impressed at all by the food. Place is cute, waitresses are nice enough, but I’ve had my fair share of Thai food (it’s my favourite!) and this? This has no flavor. I couldn’t even finish my Pad Thai dish. Disappointing.

The food was ready in a timely manor however it was absolutely appalling. Very watery and lots of items in the dish that were not listed on the menu. We got our food for carryout so when we go home and realize how gross it looked we took it right back down. All we wanted was our money back considering we didn’t even taste the food it looked so bad. The waitress there was giving rude looks the whole time, which is completely unacceptable behavior. We will never return.

Thai tea is great as is the cashew chicken. Both were a little sweeter than I’ve had at other places. Restaurant is cute and easy to find, with plenty of parking nearby. Service in a fairly empty restaurant is a little slow, which is why it’s not five stars.

Excellent food in a relaxing atmosphere. Great to eat and then enjoy open mic night in the square next door Saturday evenings. Feels like an evening out in a cool Portland neighborhood!

so sad they close. While on family visit from France, we enjoyed a family dinner that revealed a very inviting place with a very good food. Each dish was really memorable and the service very friendly.

Small place, friendly customer service except for the owner. She generally gives a cold shoulder to us inspite of our regular visits there for years. Not even a hello. Very strange for a small business.
