Alrighty, stopped by here for a quick summer treat. I was a little worried when I first got there, as the line was pretty long. To my pleasant surprise, the line moved very quick and we got our order faster than we thought.
Menu was simple, but had a good selection of frozen treats and flavors. The strawberry sundae and chocolate shake we got were pretty good. Lots of outdoor seating in the shade. I liked the quick and efficient staff.

This little place is almost always packed and for good reason. Their dessert is delicious and their rating is an A. You sometimes have to wait a little for your food. However, that just tells me it’s fresh. Definitely worth a try is you haven’t been there. They have a small section with picnic tables if you feel like sitting outside as well. It’s a place for the whole family. We’ve even brought our little old doggie out for some ice cream. Can’t go wrong here.

Adorable fun spot! Loved the coney dogs & the ice cream. Made a surprise pit stop on our way home from TN and glad we did. Good prices I got a small choc chip cookie dough cone, & my daughter got a small Chocolate peanut butter (which was one of the best choc ice creams Weve ever tasted) in an actual cup and we each got a coney dog & our total was $15! Large portions.

Let me tell you that if you are in Louisville and are looking for where to eat ice cream, don’t think about it anymore and come to this place, it is the best in Louisville. and the employees are the best one for real . In summer it may be full but they attend quickly. It is my favorite place and further on that same street is a small lake with a park so they can have a good day, without a doubt u have to visit this beautiful place to have a bless day

I went there last night with my son and some youth from church. Although there’s a bit of a long wait and not a whole lot of seating outside atmosphere was nice and friendly. I was in town visiting my Dad and it was my first time trying Barrel Of Fun. It sure lived up to its name, I got a butterscotch shake and it was absolutely delicious! I will definitely go back again sometime
