We recently had the joy of celebrating our son’s graduation from the University of Tennessee along with his commissioning as a 2LT in the U.S. Army—and VG’s Bakery played a delicious role in making the day extra special!
Living five hours away in North Carolina, we were concerned about finding a bakery we could trust for such an important custom cake. We had no need for concern! From the moment we connected with Katie, the General Manager, and Sarah, the Assistant Manager, we knew we were in great hands. They took our vision and turned it into an absolute masterpiece. The decorator captured every detail perfectly – truly bringing our idea to life in a way that exceeded all expectations.
When we arrived to pick up the cake, we were instantly drawn to the amazing assortment of baked goods in their display cases. We couldn’t resist leaving with a few extra sweet treats, and every single one was just as incredible as the cake!

VG’s is an awesome locally-owned bakery and they knocked it out of the park on my wedding cakes this past July! Everything they make is delicious and our wedding cakes were no exception. I provided an inspiration image for the cake decorations but told their decorator to go to town and get creative – all three cakes turned out stunning! Keep VG’s at the top of your list if you are in need of a wedding cake, and make sure to get on their books in advance as their cakes are in high demand!
