We’re excited to share that Taco Burger has officially taken over the former Uzy’s Pizza and Gyro location. Since August 2025, we’ve been proud to continue serving the community from this space while introducing our own fresh, house-made menu. At Taco Burger, we offer 1/3 pound burgers, pizza made with house-made dough and marinara, smoked wings, sandwiches, and gyros — all prepared with quality ingredients and care. We’re grateful for the support we’ve received so far and look forward to continuing to serve both existing guests who have supported this location over the years, as well as welcoming many new guests. Our goal is to provide a place where the community can enjoy fresh food, fair prices, and friendly service.

Bob and I rolled down to Uzys today. Wow, pretty good!!! Burgers tasted fresh definitely not frozen pattys, toppings were fresh buns were soft, fries were crisp and hot. Bob had the bacon cheeseburger and fries. I had the jalapeño jack burger with street corn, delicious!! A definite win for Bedford!!! Decent price, great service

We ordered wings (buffalo and honey chipotle), cheeseburger and fries combo, chicken Parmesan pita with street corn, and a gyro pizza. Oh my goodness! It was all so good.
The chicken Parm sandwich is so good! The chicken was cooked perfectly and was just perfect on the Parmesan crusted pita.
The gyro pizza was so delicious. The gyro meat was cut thin like pepperoni, and the tzatziki was tangy.
The cheeseburger was 1/3 lb and very flavorful. Fries were lightly seasoned.
The wings were sauced the just right amount

Excellent food and great service at a fair price!
The burgers are large, juicy, and full of flavor—true street-style perfection. The fries are golden, crispy, and cut just right to complement the meal. I haven’t tried the pizza yet, but I’ve heard nothing but amazing things about it. The atmosphere is decent, though there’s definitely room to make it more inviting. Overall, a solid spot for a satisfying and flavorful bite.

I’ve been to this spot back when it was just Uzy’s, and honestly, the food and service left a lot to be desired. I even gave it another shot once and had the same experience — not great. But now that it’s Taco Burger & Uzy’s, wow… what a turnaround!
The food and service have done a complete 180. I tried the mushroom burger and the bacon cheeseburger, and both were perfectly cooked, well-sized, and absolutely delicious. The fries were crispy and seasoned just right — honestly some of the best around. And the prices are better than the competition down the road.
If they ever add margaritas to the menu, that other place wouldn’t stand a chance! I’m already planning to go back to try their pizzas and gyros next. Bedford definitely needed a spot like this — friendly, flavorful, and worth every bite.

I use to come here all the time, the fries with the spices were so good. However, I’m assuming they changed owners and every was horrible the fries were okay but the gyro was bland no toppings…it’s not the same and I probably wont be back.

I ordered for pickup, a pepperoni pizza with mushrooms and onions and was charged for the two extra ingredients. When I got it home I saw that it had only pepperoni. The grease and oil from the pepperoni and cheese had soaked through the bottom of the box. Be careful if you set one of these pizzas to go, on your car seat!

The new management stinks . The pizza used to be nice and crispy. Now the pizza looks like it was premade. It’s so greasy they might as well have just fried it and the cheese isn’t cooked all the way through. Ever since the middle eastern guy left, the stores quality of food has been horrible

I had the mushroom swiss. Great seasoning and the good mayo (if that is your thing). Hubs tried the peperjack jalapeno and he said it had good heat and would get it again.
Fries are frozen, but again good seasoning and a nice portion on the combos. Drinks were in bottles.
Burger, fries and a drink for about $12….TOTALLY worth it. Get out and support our locals places. This one really deserves it! We will for sure go back.

My son went in to pick up two medium pizzas (one pepperoni and one gyro), but when he got home one was just cheese. We called Uzy’s and explained the mix-up, and the lady on the phone immediately apologized and offered to deliver us the correct pizza. We told her that wasn’t necessary and that we would come pick it up instead.
When we arrived, she was already making the new pizza fresh so it would be hot when we left. While we waited, we had a wonderful conversation with her. We shared that we used to come in when the previous owner was here, and how happy we were that she’s still in the neighborhood since we’ve always loved the food.
The restaurant was very clean, the staff was so friendly, and the customer service was excellent. If you want hot, delicious food to feed your family at a fair price, I highly recommend Uzy’s Pizza & Gyro!

The cheddar burger was amazing! It was large! I could only eat 1/2. The fries were amazing as well! I’m looking forward to trying the pizza! Super nice staff!
