update:
It feels much more comfortable and pleasant inside now. Also, that strong smell from the kitchen is no longer an issue. Overall, it’s a nice spot to enjoy a good meal on the spot.
And they have a big parking lot, other uzbek cuisine around are tight parking spots, this one has a lot of space.
The somsa came out golden and crisp, straight from the tandoor. The flaky layers of pastry gave way to a filling that was juicy and well-seasoned. Unlike many places where the dough can feel heavy, here it was light and just the right thickness, allowing the aroma of spiced lamb and onion to shine through. A touch of cumin in the filling gave it that signature Uzbek warmth.
The norin, on the other hand, was a more subtle dish but just as memorable. Thinly hand-cut noodles were mixed with slices of meat, tender and slightly smoky. The balance between the chewy noodles and the savory meat made for a comforting yet refined flavor. It’s not a flashy dish, but it has a depth that really grows on you, especially when paired with a hot cup of green tea.
Overall, this place captures the heart of Uzbek cuisine—hearty, aromatic, and made with care. If you’re new to Uzbek food, start with the somsa for something familiar yet unique. If you’re up for a traditional taste experience, the norin will give you a real sense of Uzbek culinary heritage.
The dine-in area is a bit small, but we were still able to sit comfortably and enjoy a family meal.
The staff were polite, friendly, and professional.
Highly recommended.
