We made reservations for my wife’s birthday for 7 of us. We heard some good things about Uva. Our service was excellent. We had two waiters helping our table, which took care of every request. My wife had the cowboy ribeye, and it was very tasty. My son and I had the chicken parm, and we both liked the portions and the way the chicken was cooked, however the sauce tasted as if was right from a jar. It was seriously lacking in flavor. My parents and in-laws enjoyed the stuffed ravioli and clams, but they seemed to enjoy the cesar salad the most. I wasn’t a fan of the complimentary bread, it was too crusty and hard even to enjoy with the olive oil. The biggest deal breaker for me was that they will charge you an additional 3.95% if you use a credit card. We did like that it was byob or our bill would have been over $500. With our meals, gratuity, and the additional 3.95% for using a credit card, our bill was $350. My wife liked it, but there are too many negatives for me, plus there are plenty of great restaurants around us that don’t charge me extra to pay them.

Awesome dinner! Service was perfect as well. Steak was cooked exactly how I wanted it and the tiramisu was some of my favorite I’ve ever had. Got to try their limoncello & chocolatecello as well. Can’t wait to go back!!

wow! what an awesome experience for my wife’s birthday! the food was amazing! service was also amazing! johnny was awesome! and rihanon was an amazing waitress!! we had a great night celebrating my wife! thank you very much for a great night! sean was great! We loved the cheese board and the specials, one of the best steaks I have had.

First time here but not the last. Everything, from start to finish was outstanding. Looking through the menu online and pretty much knew what I was going to order, until we arrived. Certainly, keep an open mind, as the specials added to the menu on a Friday night, were fantastic, as well. Note: UVA is BYOB. Check this place out. You won’t be disappointed.

Food excellent. Watch out for the added upcharge for using a credit card even though you pay cash. Cash discount offered, posted at entrance, but only amounts to the credit card surcharge. A scam if I ever saw one. I guess they think they are upscale enough to sneak in an added charge. They removed the charge when confronted!

Absolutely great experience from beginning to end. The service was phenomenal. Bread/dips and water was provided immediately. The menu is really varied with the classics, signature dishes and great specials. Soups, salads and apps were all super tasty. Entrees were all fantastic. Large portions and served piping hot. We did not have desert, but were provided some chocolate “cello” as a complementary treat. I cant say enough about our dining experience here.

Wow!! Came to Uva for the first time for our anniversary based off the great reviews and it surpassed expectations! Staff was welcoming and attentive. Met the owners who were very kind and clearly passionate about us having a great experience. The Food was outstanding! I had the Bronzino which was easily one of the best cuts of fish I’v ever had (choose the filet option). My wife had a large portion of the Risotto Crab and Shrimp. She had too take the rest home! For dessert we had the Raspberry donut flavored cheesecake and the lava cake and ice cream. Both were delicious! This place is a hidden gem with a great atmosphere and will back up the hype! To top it all off, for that great of an experience, you can not beat the price! Highly recommend!

How did I not know this place was here?? Great byob. Food and service were top notch. Great teamwork to make sure we had everything we needed. Mussels, octopus carpaccio, burrata, pasta special, desserts all phenomenal. My aunt wasn’t happy with her dish but they replaced it quickly and with a smile. I can’t wait to go back and try everything they offer
