We stopped at Utsav while driving through Hartford and it turned out to be one of the best dining experiences we have had in a long time.
From the moment the food arrived we knew we were in for something special. The sizzling platters came out steaming hot and incredibly fragrant. You could literally hear the food coming before it reached the table. The presentation was beautiful and everything smelled amazing.
We started with the vegetable samosas which were perfectly crisp and full of flavor. For my main dish I ordered the aloo gobi and it was outstanding. Every bite was a burst of flavor and the sauce served with it elevated the dish even more. The vegetables tasted fresh and perfectly seasoned.
My husband ordered the chicken tandoori and it was absolutely delicious. Juicy, flavorful, and clearly freshly prepared. It came out sizzling hot and was cooked perfectly.
The entire meal felt like five star dining with fresh ingredients, wonderful presentation, and bold authentic flavors. The atmosphere was comfortable and the service was excellent.
If you are anywhere near Hartford and love flavorful Indian cuisine, Utsav is definitely worth the stop. We will absolutely be coming back.

Best Indian restaurant in around area. Their newly added lunch menu is very reasonable and delicious. I ordered paneer masala and tawa parantha ( charged separately). Otherwise stick to bread from lunch menu. But I love tawa parantha.:).

Ate there for lunch Saturday. Amazingly delicious. We’ve been getting takeout from here for years but it’s been awhile since we’ve dined in. While the takeout is very good, eating in house was a whole different level of deliciousness. Highly recommend.

We went to Dine In at 8:02pm they said the kitchen will close by 8:30 please order fast. We ordered by 8:25 both veg and non-veg. Both quantity and quality are very worst. I asked little spice in my dishes they just added raw chili’s and given me.

One of the best Indian restaurants in the greater Hartford area. Been craving lamb tikka masala and dosas. We had tandoori chicken, saag paneer, chicken tikka masala, and naan. Murgh Dhaniakhali was our granddaughter’s favorite. My only complaint is that they automatically added 20% tip. I always tip 20% anyway unless it’s bad service. I do not like restaurants making that decision for me.

This place was very close to our hotel and we decided to try it out for dinner. Service was excellent. They were very friendly and knowledgeable about menu since we had no idea 🙂 everything we ordered was amazing and we tried a lot of food. We will come back to try more 🙂

We went here after a long time as this was a little pricy restaurant but the food was good even the last time.They have apparently changed their menu.
The lunch menu has good portion size and its totally worth the money.
The lunch Thali comes with two curries, rice, roti/Naan, soup/salad, dessert and a curry of your choice!
We had the palak paneer, Malai kofta, chicken Tikka and amma’s fish gravy and all of them were good.
The soup and dessert was also great!
For starters we got the meat platter which was the perfect portion size for two and it tasted great!
We were happy with our food and service and totally worth this second visit!
