A clean restaurant with decent parking, as my car was the only car at that time. No greetings at the entrance, I was asked for take out or dine in. I chose dine in. Ordered 3 items as shown in the pics. Chick biriyani, butter chicken,chicken curry with roti. Was served in less than 20min which is great. The first bite of Briyani that was it, couldn’t take it futher. It was so SOUR and oily that I have never tasted anywhere, that a chicken biryani is served as sour as lemon juice.Next i tasted butter chickens nd chicken curry, same exact taste with extream oil on chicken curry. Couldn’t throw it out,so packed it and bright to make some modification to make it some how edible.
To conclude: NOT anywhere near to good taste, forget about being Authentic Indian Restaurant.
I am surprised to see few old reviews online, sorry for them who haven’t yet tried the authentic food.
This place was known for REX kitchen, that has decent authentic food long back.
Waste of our money as the price higher than other restaurants in maple ridge and the quantity is trimmed.
Waiter was nice and helpful. Fortunately she never asked how was the food and experience. So I am posting it here so that other customers shouldn’t be disappointed like we did and they can save their time and money from this experience.
Nothing against the crew or the business, but the food is definitely a terrible DISAPPOINTMENT in our experience.

Hi all, I would like to explain my recent visit to Ustad G76, We were group of eight, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. We ordered $150 worth of food, and every single item was spot on—delicious and perfectly prepared. I was particularly impressed by our server, Shagal, who must have a photographic memory. She effortlessly memorized each member’s order and the necessary amendments, ensuring that everything came out exactly as we requested.
A big thanks to Chef Harjap, who did an amazing job in the kitchen and truly made our day special. We enjoyed a delightful spread that included Kadai Paneer, Chana Bhatura, Pav Bhaji, two Veg Thalis, Veg Noodles, Paneer Malai Tikka, and dessert. The portion sizes were generous, far better than what you often find at other restaurants, where you might feel shortchanged.
During the meal, we all sampled each other’s food and were consistently amazed by the flavours. I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant to everyone—it’s truly great! A final shout-out to the restaurant owner for assembling such a brilliant team.

I’ve been ordering takeout from this restaurant for a couple of years, but unfortunately the food quality has declined. In my last few orders, the food lacked flavor and didn’t taste fresh.
I usually don’t write reviews unless I’ve had repeated bad experiences, and this was the third time. I hope you can focus more on consistency and quality, because what I received today, and in my last two orders, was very disappointing. Complete waste of money, I had to trash it again.

Unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing. The food was so bad that I ended up getting sick and vomiting twice during the night. This was not only unpleasant but also concerning from a hygiene and safety standpoint.
To make matters worse, the staff didn’t seem welcoming at all. It felt like they were working under pressure, and there was no basic greeting or warmth in their service.
Overall it was a very poor experience, both in terms of food quality and hospitality.
It’s interesting how a single negative review is often followed by an unusually enthusiastic response from first-time reviewers.

We had ordered food for our Diwali event for work. I must say I was very impressed with the service and especially the quality of the food. The staff was super nice and accommodating . This is a must try for your next family or work event! Ever since this place has changed new ownership/ management this is a place not to miss! We will for sure be back and do their indoor dining service as well.

Mmm so good. Every dish that I have tried here is absolutely delicious. The atmosphere in the restaurant is comfortable, inviting and Shagal is very kind, knowledgeable and friendly. I highly recommend that you give them a try, you will not be disappointed.

I’ve had ALOT of Indian food. My family is from Sri Lanka. If you like tender slow cooked spiced lamb curry. This is not the place. The lamb was so tough and unflavourfull . I spent over 25 dollars for 1 dish. Not good in my opinion . Had to pay extra if I wanted rices.

Bought only Chole Bhature — very disappointed. The quality was really poor. The Bhature were hard and not even chewy. I ordered 4 plates, and the portions were so small. Two plates are still unopened — I’m just going to throw them in the garbage. Definitely not worth the money. Never coming back again.
