Ok. It’s a food truck, nothing spectacular. But it has to be the best Mofongo con Camarones( green plantain) and shrimp)and Asopao de camarones ( shrimp soup) in Lakeland. Prices are super reasonable. It’s a must stop…actually please ‍♂️ run . The food will not disappoint. I have eaten there 2x, and food has been consistent.

Edit ** I order take out once a week** so thankful I found this place.

Some friends and I were looking for a good mofongo when we came back from Puerto Rico. We found the mofongo and so much more! The chicken empanadas were the best we’ve ever had, the modongo was better than what we had in PR, and everything else containing plantain was perfect.

We will return, and I am looking forward to trying the rest of the menu!

Were craving some homemade criollo food and this did not disappoint. Freshly made carne guisada with arroz con gandules and tostones. The tostones were softer than what we’re used to (we like them crispy) but the flavor was still good. Service was quick and friendly. Will be coming again!

This was our first time trying it out, drove an hour and 30 mins away. All I can say is this place was amazing! Great customer service, great price for the amount of mofongo you get and the alcapurias are so good! This is our new favorite place! I highly recommend.
