The Jazz Show featuring Phil Denny was amazing!! Music was outstanding!! Loved the live painting during the show.
Service was good, food was good ~ little upgrades would put it over the top – blue cheese olives, higher quality snacks. It’s lovely and evolving. We will be back!!!

Food has not been good every time we’ve been there. Most recently had extremely bland lasagna and the Cuban panini was described to me as a thick large slice of ham with a tiny bit pulled port, dill pickle and a dijon sauce on a boring piece of bread.
Staff is slow and very unorganized, except for the bartender, who makes very good cocktails.
Atmosphere and talent we’ve seen is always great! Cool place, just EAT BEFORE YOU GO. Sorry, Urban Beat!

Fabulous night with Walter Blanding and Whee 3 trio. The trio got the night started followed by Walter Blanding. His wife blew that tambourine up! Outstanding instrumentalists. Every one of them. Everyone who took the stage from the audience were great too. See you soon.

What a great night we had watching and listening to Motown music. We should have ordered flat bread pizza (not pasta)… But the drinks were amazing, service (while they were short staffed) was terrific. We danced and enjoyed the wonderful atmosphere. We will be back because it was so fun.

Urban Beat is fun for events, I’ve been there for many events now, but they don’t have enough servers for food and drinks. They never have for the last 2 years I’ve been going to events.
If you’re going to an event and you’re hungry I would suggest eating first. And if you want a drink, go to the bar to order because the serving staff is too slow.

We were at urban beat for open mic on Wednesday night and enjoyed the atmosphere and the friendliness of Thomas, who waited on us, as well as other people who waited on us. My daughter was singing during the open mic and a large group of us were there. The food was amazing! We just appreciated the extra care Thomas gave us! Can’t wait to go back!

We really wanted to like it but the food was simply awful. My wife got Thai Peanut Noodles. It didn’t have the green onions listed on it’s description, the sauce was nasty, the presentation was unexciting, and we were charged $14.99 while the menu said $12. I got the spinach artichoke dip which looks like something in a horror movie and had no taste whatsoever. We sat out front on the so-called patio and there was a big band and party going inside so maybe we just didn’t get the attention that normally we might. Either way, we’re not motivated to ever come back. I did try to get a draft beer and was informed that none of the taps were working properly so no draft beer.
