I decided to visit this restaurant after seeing it on my FYP, where the food looked fresh, vibrant, and exciting. I’ve always loved a good build-your-own salad bar, so I made a point to stop by while visiting Atlanta. Unfortunately, the experience was nothing like what was portrayed online.

When I arrived, the aesthetic was noticeably different from the video. I initially blamed it on the rainy weather, but once I walked inside, the atmosphere felt bland and unwelcoming. I wasn’t greeted at all—just approached by a staff member who immediately began taking my order.

First red flag: nearly half of the salad bar items were either out of stock or needed to be replenished. Several containers had ingredients mixed together, which raised concerns about cross-contamination. This was especially disappointing because the video that inspired my visit showcased a wide variety of fresh options—none of which were properly available that day.

Second red flag: the employee preparing my salad only wore a glove on one hand. When I asked for cucumbers, I noticed that her ungloved hand—with her fingernail inside my bowl—hovered over the ingredients. She then attempted to grab cucumbers with that same ungloved hand. When I pointed this out, she looked startled and immediately defensive. Although she insisted she hadn’t touched the cucumbers, her reaction made me uncomfortable and doubtful.

I continued the order because I had already waited, but the experience kept declining. When I reached the protein station, another staff member asked what dressing and protein I wanted. I chose lemon vinaigrette and salmon, and they chopped the salad and sent it to the cashier.

Third red flag: my salad was placed in a flimsy plastic bag, and the container was sitting upright instead of flat. The cashier had to adjust it before handing it to me. For a $17 salad, this level of care was unacceptable.

There was no “thank you,” no apology, and no goodbye. I left feeling discouraged, disappointed, and honestly cheated. I threw the salad away and moved on.

Needless to say, I will not be returning.

Very warm in the facility, but outstanding salads. Excellent customer service. Shout out to the young woman and the light skinned brother working tonight. They were generous.

Urban Sprout has officially become my go‑to spot for fresh, flavorful, feel‑good eating. Their salads are on a whole different level — vibrant, crisp, and packed with ingredients that taste like they were picked that morning. Every bowl feels intentional, balanced, and made with real care.

What I love most is how they layer flavors: the greens are always fresh, the toppings are generous, and the dressings taste homemade with that perfect tang. You can tell they prioritize quality and creativity. It’s the kind of salad that actually fills you up and makes you feel good afterward.

The vibe inside is warm and welcoming, and the staff treats you like they’re genuinely happy you stopped by. Whether you’re grabbing something quick or sitting down to enjoy a healthy meal, Urban Sprout delivers every time.

If you’re anywhere near Hapeville and want a salad that hits every time, this is the place. Five stars without hesitation.

Not a place I would visit again. Way over priced for a wrap. You would think the protein would be included with the wrap or the salad but you are charged for it separately. They didn’t have the spinach wrap so I had to settle for the protein wrap because she had already mixed my ingredients in the bowl. The wrap poorly wrapped together. When trying to pick one half of it up to take a bite all my ingredients fell out from the other end. The wrap was dry and bland. I could have just went to subway.

The salad items looked so fresh so that’s a plus! I unfortunately received the most abysmal and disappointing customer service and I was so excited to come in.

Note to the owners, we are a small knit community and we will get your business up outta here quickly if it doesn’t provide a good experience. We got the last two spots outta here and this restaurant will be no different. Good luck.

Today I had probably the worst experience ever at urban sprouts . I went in just to get a regular salad , but ended up getting the rudest worker I have had the not so pleasure of meeting. The employee who made our salad barely added any cucumbers and when asked for a few more she added a half of one slice. She didn’t add a scoop full of pesto chicken, it wasn’t enough for a regular salad… maybe enough for a small salad. She seemed pissed to even make our order and my husband wanted to ask for pita chips for his salad but declined to do so because he didn’t want her to do more than she wanted to do for us… she gave him croutons ( he didn’t ask for them nor did he want them). Please be mindful that your staff and their “funky attitudes” can ruin your business. I understand that “ good help is hard to find” but paying $33 for 2 salads, I definitely expect better customer service than what was presented today. Please work on training staff to be approachable and pleasant. For that reason alone, I will not be returning to Urban Sprout anytime soon. I hope this review is seen by management and they take heed of the feedback and make positive changes

This place is run POORLY.

I came here around 5:20p on a Sunday. When I pulled up I saw an older woman mopping and two young adults on their phones. They looked closed, I asked the mopper and she said they were. I looked at the time and saw at that point it was 5:25p.

I start recording and the mopper moves immediately out of view.

I go to the door, it’s locked and young adult one was scrolling her phone and sitting then started speaking to young adult two.

All of the food is covered. There is no explanation as to why the restaurant is closed almost 40 mins ahead of the time on the door. I drove 30 mins and opted to come here but I’ll just go a little further to SALATA instead because they bit their entire business model anyway (down to the placards/labels for the food items).

I did try this establishment before. They opening crew didn’t open on time, but did open the door and serve us. I try to support small (and minority owned; presumably) businesses, but it’s stuff like this that turns people away.

The other two workers were literally just sitting down in front of the covered foods on their phones unbothered. Mopper had an attitude from the jump. I wouldn’t send a rat in there and certainly wouldn’t put anymore money into an establishment that clearly doesn’t want it. The owner should shut down if he or she can place people to properly run the restaurant.
