Great little place off of the beaten path. Large selection of Bourbons. Great service by Cindy. I chose the prime rib sandwich with fries. My husband and I shared an order of their fried mushrooms which came highly recommended by (Bill) when we had talked to him a while back. Mushrooms had great flavor and cooked to perfection. Definitely on our list of stops when we are in the area. Prices are very reasonable.

Roses Bourbon Rail is definitely a Hot Spot in Southern Illinois!! Great music, delicious drinks, friendly staff, and all around good people. They have a kitchen that serves food to get you fill. They support local music so that’s always a plus for me. 5 stars all day!!

2 of my favorite things in life and he does them both well. Excellent selection of whiskey, you won’t find a larger selection between St. Louis and Kentucky! I’ve looked.
The cajun food is the best I have had since being stationed in LA! Yes, I have been to them all from StL to Cape.. his crawfish are cooked “fresh”, the way it’s supposed to be done. Boudin is the best you will find. Etouffe is made with a great roux. Not so hot or salty you can’t eat it.
Good folks, clean place. Solid afternoon drive that is worth it!
