Amazing place! Came here for dinner and everything was outstanding. Fresh ingredients, beautiful plating, and generous portions. Service was excellent and the prices were very affordable. All of our meals were under $15, and my cocktails were under $10! We will definitely be back. Highly recommended! Located just minutes from Joliet mall.

When I first saw Urban Kitchen on Google Maps, I was a little skeptical. The name made me think it might be an Americanized version of ethnic cuisine—but that wasn’t the case at all. I ordered the Birria tacos with a side of cilantro rice, and both were excellent. The tacos tasted just like something you’d get from an authentic Mexican restaurant—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. Hats off to the chef! I was very impressed and highly recommend this place.

Nice clean establishment. Food was well prepared but could use some suggestions. I got the chicken sandwich with fries. It didn’t taste right with Mexican cheese on it, instead of traditional pepper jack or cheddar. Also, their wasn’t enough buffalo sauce on it. The chicken was slightly dry, and more sauce would have masked that.

5 star “fast food”. Everything we tried was amazing!!! We had steak tacos that came with Elote and an apple pecan salad. The chef came from the back to answer our menu questions. Everything was made fresh to order and was absolutely delicious. The restaurant was beautiful and the dine in experience was lovely. The only reason I call this “fast food” is because you stand to order and clean up after yourself. Also it’s pretty fast for being cooked fresh and from scratch. This was a wonderful dining experience. I will be coming back often.

Absolutely FANTASTIC! I swung by earlier today after my college class to get my husband some lunch to drop off and bring some food for my toddler and I. My son LOVED his chicken. My steak tacos were great (the ONLY thing that I wish would be added is some cheese, but I put some on at home, so it was fine), and my husband and devoured his cheeseburger. The corn was amazing, too. I brought some for my mom, too. She loved it. The cashier was SO friendly. I think his name was Julian? Sweetest person ever! Will 100% be back very soon! My husband is already talking about it!

My fish tacos did NOT have a “rainbow slaw” as the description on the menu stated and the fish tasted like dirt. My fam liked thier food though, mom had a Birria torta and sis had a french dip. Fries were “meh.”

Sorry. “Rainbow citrus slaw” was how they were described, as per image. Rainbows usually have more than two colors and citrus usually refers to citrus.
