I was in the area so I decided to try Urban bird hot chicken for the very first time. I was very impressed with the flavor and freshness of the food and for the most part the service although they did put coleslaw on my sandwich initially when I asked them not to but they fixed it right away. The mac and cheese was crazy good and I ordered the second hottest sauce option and it was just right for me and I’m a spicy nut anything hotter would have been in trouble lol

Thank You! Thank You! Thank You! LaDonna, for the great and awesome recommendations! The “Fire in the Hole” flavored urban fries were just the right amount of spicy I had been craving for weeks now! Pairing that up with a Sweet & Tangy flavored chicken sandwich with all the fixings was a knockout punch. Luckily the mango flavored lemonade helped to put out the fire. It was a great first time experience at Urban Bird in Baytown, TX. I will definitely be coming back again!

Walked in and ordered like normal. Waited for over 45 minutes for my food (Was not informed there was that long of a wait) finally got my food to go. I got home and open my food and they aren’t even on brioche buns like they advertise, they also didn’t give me the right chicken. I ordered spicy and the sandwiches I got want even spicy. After taking my food back to the store the shift leader Miranda informed me they were out of the brioche buns so they were using toast instead. As a consumer I should be aware of what I am purchasing. All the employees need to do is communicate with the customer and it will solve more issues.

Update March 3rd: Hate leaving poor reviews went back hoping things was better, it was empty and was about to turn around because I knew my food would be stale and drenched with sauce to cover up that fact. See latest pic…. I tried to eat what I can. Big let down. How hard is it to drop fresh fries for a normal customer for any customer as a matter of fact.
The 3 stars are for the times I visited and received stale fries and chicken consecutively. If your order is ready within 5 minutes, it is likely that you have received old food. To make matters worse, they drench it in their signature sauce to conceal the fact that the fries are old and have been re-dipped. Despite this, it has become my comfort food, although I have reduced my visits due to these experiences. When the manager or owner is present, the food is of excellent quality. Some customers complain about the occasional 30-minute wait, but I prefer to wait for fresh food rather than receive it quickly but clearly stale. Do not like my personal experience deter you definitely try it for yourself. When it’s good it’s good

I had a really good experience here. The place was super clean and well-kept, which honestly stood out to me right away. Everything from the floors to the counters looked spotless, and the whole environment felt fresh and comfortable.

Came in at 9:40 PM (they close at 10:30) and waited over 30 minutes for food. The waffles came out ice cold. When we politely asked for them to be remade, we could hear a Spanish-speaking employee loudly complaining in the back about not wanting to remake the order because it was “almost closing.” I’m bilingual, so I understood everything.
Instead of actually remaking them, she clearly threw the same waffles back into the fryer. The “remake” took even longer and came back completely destroyed burnt, crumbled, and inedible. If you’re going to take orders, serve them properly! Customers shouldn’t pay for attitudes or shortcuts. If I could give 0 stars, I would. Worst experience. Never coming back.

First I want to say I’ve been eating here since this store has opened I’ve met several general managers by far the best one was Mr Fernando this current general manager doesn’t speak a lick of English and half of the time their missing key ingredients to make the food. It’s not the employees fault they’re just trying to do their job I’m extremely disappointed in this establishment. Anyways the general manager I believe his name is jermaiah he needs to do better. The employees are always trying to do their best but how can they if they don’t have what they need to keep business going. Anyways we did a catering order it was supposed to be done by I believe 10:50 and they were missing the gallons because they didn’t have any gallon bags from what I was told he told the employee to just give us the 4 large cups and guess what else they were missing cup holders. This is egregious and awful. Urban bird do better for your customers and employees ! The other day when I was ordering he was sitting down holding hands with one of his employees I’ve met her a couple of times her name is seniada I believe !! That is very unprofessional. I hope they can do better because this was our favorite place to eat. I enjoyed it for the past 4-5 years.

This was my first time at urban bird I ordered a popular item off the menu. I personally didn’t enjoy it so I asked if I could get something else instead and they immediately helped me out, I ordered the Thai fries and I was satisfied with the service thanks to Eric the general manager here.
