We loved this place! Delicious food (try the low Country Boil, which is enough to share!) and cool, beach atmosphere. We loved the honor system with drinks while we waited. Our wait time for a table was about an hour (very realistic for the time of year we were there), and with 3 little kids that can get challenging. However, we were able to get them drinks and grab some beers for the adults in our own without waiting at the bar. It definitely made the wait time go by faster and easier.

We brought the family here for dinner. Great spot to bring the kids. The staff was super-friendly and the food was prepared and served quickly. Baked oysters, stuffed shrimp – this is your spot. Inside, looks a lot like Indian Pass Raw Bar and apparently it was originally opened by them, but now is under new owners. We honestly liked it better, as there is a little more variety to their menu. It’s easy to spend a lot here because the food is so good!

I’ve been to Uptown every time I visit from Mississippi, first time being around 3 years ago when the new owners took over. Hands down the best place to eat in Port St. Joe. The self serve drinks is a cool unique touch. Food has always been phenomenal. Staff and owners are extremely kind.

Uptown Raw Bar & Grill is top-notch! It is located in the cute historic downtown area of Port St Joe. The restaurant is not huge, but that just adds to its cozy atmosphere. If you have to wait, it is well worth the wait. You will wait to be seated and then choose what to eat from a generous menu. As you read over the menu, you help yourself to drinks from a set of wall coolers. You can even opt for draft beer on tap, which is also self-serve. It’s kind of fun to pull your own tap. The menu is full of fresh seafood options. There are plenty of chicken and steak options as well, though, too. I recommend the oytsers. Baked with parmesan and jalepenos or choose them raw. Either way, you can’t go wrong. The art on the wall adds to the upscale feel of Uptown Raw Bar. We loved it!

We spent Memorial Day weekend at Cape San Blas and decided to go into town Port St Joe and check this place out. First off the wait time 2hrs30min . We chalked it up to it being a holiday weekend. Okay fine. We go in and the vibe is super chill and no worries type of atmosphere (5) The drinks you get yourself and it’s on a honor system. We got a pitcher of beer . We ordered the low country boil x2, stuffed shrimp, crab claws, and a skewer of shrimp. The LCB could have been more flavorful in my opinion but was still seasoned well and the portions were huge. The stuffed shrimp well made but for $24 the shrimp should have been bigger. The shrimp skewer same deal could have been bigger shrimp, however, it was well seasoned. Crab claws were really good . Overall meal (4.8). When you come down to Florida and are in the Port St Joe area definitely give Uptown a try you won’t be disappointed. Final tally (4.9)

Great authentic place to eat oysters and all kinds of seafood! The atmosphere has been successfully transferred from the original Raw Bar at Indian Pass. Only the live music is missing. Very friendly and helpful staff. The place to be in PSJ!

We had an excellent meal; we wish we had found this spot earlier on our vacation! They have great nightly specials that we wish we had been able to take advantage of. The service was excellent in spite of them being slammed, and the food was delicious. We had an appetizer, entrees, and dessert. Drinks were self-serve from the wall refrigerators, and you keep count on a scorecard that you bring to get rung up. Ambience was perfect for us and we were seated immediately at the bar.

It was recommended by a friend we stop in at Uptown Raw Bar while I’m Port St. Joe and man am I glad we did. Great service and wonderful food. We had two dozen raw oysters, boiled shrimp platter and the grouper meal. It was one of the best meals I’ve eaten in a very long time. Highly recommend!!! And bonus it’s in a very cute little quaint city street of Port St. Joe with other great places to eat and shop. Also ate at Sisters Bistro (see review) but go there to for breakfast. yummy
