The bad. None at this time
We had a couple of sandwiches with fries. The Aussie was excellent. I would go as far as calling this a signature dish.
The croissant was good, comparable to other good places, but not one I would come back for. That honor is saved for the Aussie.
The desserts looked amazing but we didn’t have room for that… we will leave it to a future visit.
The ambience was a mix of modern and cottage… weird but very cozy.
This is one nice place, I wish I had find it earlier.
Service Experience:
Their customer service is truly exceptional and one of the main reasons I keep coming back. The staff is consistently friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. No request seems too big or too complicated. Even when I customize orders in ways that might make other kitchens hesitate. I’ve asked for things like piling every available meat onto their BYOB sandwich, and they handle it cheerfully and without hesitation. That kind of attitude makes guests feel valued, not inconvenient.
Food Quality:
The food itself never disappoints. Everything I’ve ordered has been fresh, flavorful, and clearly prepared with care. Portions are generous, prices are reasonable, and meals always arrive hot and freshly made. Their dessert selection deserves special recognition as well. They regularly offer specials that are outstanding, but you’ll want to arrive early because the best desert items often sell out quickly.
Final Take:
Uptown Koffee and Kafe is the kind of place that easily becomes part of your regular routine. Between the warm, welcoming service and a menu full of satisfying, well-prepared food and drinks, it’s hard to leave disappointed. If you enjoy supporting great local businesses and appreciate a café that consistently delivers, this is a spot worth visiting and revisiting often.
They look to have many things I’d like to try eating but went with the Aussie Chicken Sandwich and it taste great. My only complaint on the Sandwich is that the bread was not toasted enough because the sauce made it a little soggy which made me pick it apart instead of eating it properly.
However the flavor was there. I’d just suggest asking for very toasted bread.
I also purchased a couple rice crispy treats and a Apply coffee cake. Both tasted great.
There was no wait and the atmosphere was great. It’s a beautiful place and the staff was very friendly.
Their appetizers are Dine In Only which was a disappointment cause I would have liked to take some with me.
I’ll be back to try some other items in the future.
The server was extremely standoffish, and when we went downstairs chatting, she opened the door in a way that made it clear she was pushing us out. She even yelled out a window at someone in our group over a minor thing — walking through a small bush area — which felt unprofessional and unnecessary.
For a place that relies on customers and celebrations, I’m not sure why anyone would treat guests this way. This was supposed to be a special memory, but instead it was stressful and hurtful. I would not return after this experience. I’m not sure if it is a racial thing but in our group there were Hispanics and blacks.
I also couldn’t help but wonder if our treatment had anything to do with bias, as our group included both Hispanic and Black guests. I’m not saying this was intentional, but the way we were treated compared to other customers made us uncomfortable and raised concerns.
It was a miss this time but I’ll still come back.
