I really enjoy eating here and I definitely would make it a point to come back again The food was really good. I think I was only able to eat about half my bowl there is so much food. Update: The food is even better since I’ve been back a few times now. Absolutely love it

Tasty Pot at Mekong Market in Mesa is a Taiwanese gem serving customizable hot pots that are OMG next-level flavorful! Each pot comes loaded with goodies like beef, tofu, corn, clams, crab meat, and cabbage, all simmering in a rich, savory broth. It arrives at your table sizzling in its own hot pot, kept warm on a hidden burner (which you can turn off if you’d like). Instead of just topping off your water glass, the friendly staff actually comes by to refill your broth—it’s such a fun touch. The service is outstanding, the food is comforting and bold, and it’s absolutely a must-try spot!

Authentic, flavorful food. I get their vegetarian pots and am always very impressed by the depth of flavor and variety of vegetables. The milk tea is also yummy, and the service is always fast and friendly. It’s really fun to walk around the stores and shop at the grocery store or grab a dessert at one of the other places in the Plaza.

I can’t eat seafood, this place had seafood in every single hot pot. Even the ones that say beef or kimchi or anything had some sort of seafood. They do not allow your to exchange anything they said their add on section would be come useless if they allowed me to exchange, but their add on is 5$ minimum. I do not recommend this place to anyone who cannot eat seafood unfortunately.

This hot pot place is seriously overpriced with disappointing portions and poor service.
Online prices suggest meals around $10–$20, but in reality, the actual spending per person easily reaches $20–$30, which is completely unreasonable for what you get. Portion sizes are extremely small. One hot pot per person is basically required—sharing one pot between two people is simply not enough.
The food pricing is especially absurd:
• Tofu costs $4 and comes with only 6–7 tiny cubes, worth maybe a few cents in actual cost.
• Corn is also $4, served in very small chopped pieces.
For the quality and quantity, the value is terrible.
Even the water tasted strange, slightly salty, as if something had been added—definitely not normal or pleasant.
Service was also lacking. We had two adults and one child, yet were initially given only two sets of utensils. We had to ask for extra chopsticks ourselves. Overall service felt indifferent and inattentive.
Between the inflated prices, tiny portions, strange-tasting water, and mediocre service, this place is absolutely not worth it. I would not recommend it to anyone.

Like they say, all good things must come to an end. I really love the food and service at this restaurant. However, it is getting expensive for what you get. The last few times we went, we got less food in our hot pots. My wife who never complains even said her bowl had less food. We no longer find value at this restaurant and will probably take a break for a while.

Really fun and unique food experience here. I’ve had hot pot in the past, which is pretty similar to the way they serve food here. However, most of the vegetables and meat already come in the bowl whereas in hot pot you get the broth on its own and kind of just put ingredients as you go. The veggies and meats tasted very fresh and delicious and if you ever found yourself running out of broth you could always wave down one of the waiters or waitresses to come fill you back up. Each bowl comes with a side of rice that was perfectly cooked and very soft. Eating here for the first time can be kind of overwhelming because you have a lot of things to do with your hands but at the same time it was a lot of fun and left me extremely full.
