After an exhilarating night jumping around at Urban Air, my daughter and her friends wanted to come here for dinner. This was our first time dining and for a party of 9, they were able to accommodate the group size immediately which was very nice. We sat in the roomy heated patio area. Our server was very nice and helpful and provided great service! The main downside to this experience was the fact that the food was cold by the time it got in front of me, I had the Surf and Turf special and the steak was so thin, it seemed like it was the steak you can find at the Dollar Tree frozen section, I’ve never tried it, but we joked at how similar the steak was to what it looked like on the Dollar Tree steak packaging. The salmon was good, just cold. The mashed potatoes and asparagus were probably my most favorite. There was also a mini crab cake that had good flavor, but that was cold, too. My daughter ordered the Bourbon crusted salmon and although she received a good portion, her food was cold and she barely touched it. I really liked the salad her entree came with since you can eat salads cold. We took our leftovers home for our pup Ranger, but we made sure to microwave it nice and warm for him to enjoy it all. I ordered a Hennessy Margarita and it was good, I just don’t think there was any alcohol in it. I think it was a virgin or masked by the sweetness of the Triple Sec? For our bill coming out to be just over $130 with the tip, we probably won’t be back, but I am extremely grateful that our server handled a party of 1 adult and teenagers so gracefully!

I really enjoy it here! Ive attended some of my real estate company events here in the past. I have never not enjoyed the food or the customer service here…there’s plenty of options for everyone and this time we got to sample a free shot for a new alcohol brand…it’s always busy here and on Friday nights it seems to turn very lively with live music and dancing!

Nachos were great! Firecracker wings were yummy! Service was good one night, a bit lacking the other but usually pretty good here! Pasta bowls are massive.. I didn’t like the Louisiana one or the Bourbon one so I’d try the truffle and tenderloin on the Buffalo one instead. I am curious about their Reuben’s and fish and chips but never get to order it because I always get the nachos and wings. The end.

Uptown Grille in Commerce Township, MI. Is a cozy yet upscale dining spot that’s perfect for any occasion. Nice welcoming atmosphere, I can see why it’s a local favorite for everything from casual dinners to special nights out. The menu offers a mix of comfort food and creative dishes like Chicken Parmesan, the Uptown Burger, and fresh Fish Tacos. The service was friendly and efficient, making it a great time! I for sure was not expecting it to be this nice and would definitely recommend.

Dec 2023 update. Ahi Tuna lettuce wrap was delicious and Buffalo wrap was good. Great service.
Feb 2022 update. Menu much smaller now. They were also not serving a lot of items due to lack of cook staff. We had Salmon Salad which was ok and salmon was very under cooked and the Uptown Chopped, which again was just ok. Probably would not get them again but they have other items we would come back for. The atmosphere is great and the staff excellent.
Menu is HUGE. We stopped for breakfast, lunch menu not serviced until 11. Bloody Mary was good but small ($5). The Quesadilla looks great but meh, not much taste even after adding salsa, cholula and sour cream. The Mexican Omelet was really good, especially given I asked for onions sautéed. The home fries were delicious albeit cool. We sat at the bar and service was good. (Jan 2020)

We threw an early afternoon wedding shower at Uptown in the event/wine room with 45 people. The ambiance was beautiful, the food was great, the servers were amazing, and everyone had a fabulous time. We had caesar salad, sandwiches, soup, and breadsticks. It was a beautiful event and is a venue to definitely consider for any party.

We had a NYE get together in the private Wine Room. Eric, Tatiana and Joe were incredibly patient and professional throughout or evening. They accomodated us seamlessly. We had various requests throughout evening and beforehand which they very nicely and quickly accommodated. We had a lot of children with us but Tatiana was very pleasant and took great care of us with a smile. Eric was very attentive as was Joe. Eric was very responsive to calls and took the time to speak with me multiple times beforehand and it made all the difference. That room is truly beautiful and spacious, food was very good and abundant with a nice variety. Great value.

I had a disappointing experience at Uptown Grill on Saturday. When we first arrived, the host told us the wait would be about 30–40 minutes. After waiting 36 minutes, she told us it had only been 28 minutes, which was frustrating because we had clearly been waiting longer. When I asked how much longer the wait would be, the answer was unclear.
Earlier, the host had told my cousin that there was a large group ahead of us, but when I made the reservation no one mentioned that there would be a big party causing delays. It would have been helpful to know this in advance so we could have planned differently. Instead of explaining the situation clearly, she called the manager as if it would intimidate me.
When the manager came over, I simply asked how much longer the wait would be. He responded that there was nothing they could do about it and had a rude attitude, saying it was Saturday and they were busy. I understand restaurants get busy, but better communication and a more respectful attitude toward customers would have made the situation much better.

Now I know why the large parking lot is packed most of the time. Great food, wide menu, friendly staff, and big dinning rooms. Also a large bar area. Reservations are not required but I recommend you make one. My dinning group loved all the food. Especially the strip steak. Mine was good there and warmed up at home. I got 3 meals from it. Save room for dessert, the bumpy cake is Worth all the calories. I will plan another visit with the dining group because everyone wants to come back.

I was here on a work outting. The place was very crowded however I seen or herd no issues as this place. seems to be a place of good quality people. Even tho it was packed it was still very calm an enjoyable an the staff/servers were still beyond timely as if the demand of so many ppl was not a issue. They checked on us regular kept us with all we wanted quicker then I expected an never even got any of our orders wrong. I believe our servers were Paige an Lauren. I will definitely go back an recommend this place for a date night, just to watch the game with friends or for business outings. Great experience!
