Earlier this month (1/10/2026 to be exact), we stopped by Mozzafiato while we were in the area after my son found it during a search for great local spots, and I’m glad he did.
We started with the fried mozzarella, which came out hot, crispy on the outside, and full of gooey melted cheese inside, seasoned just right. We shared a couple pizzas, the La Carne and the Harbor Bridge, and the Harbor Bridge was the clear favorite. The crust was thin but sturdy, held up well to the sauce, and every bite was packed with flavor.
The food came out fast without feeling rushed. My wife ordered the fettuccine alfredo with sautéed shrimp and finished it off with the Italian creme cake (enough to share), both huge portions and she loved every bit.
Our server Jerry was a standout, super friendly & extremely attentive. He shared how he came out of retirement to work with his friend who owns the place, which gave the whole meal a welcoming, personal feel.
Overall, it was a relaxed, satisfying meal with great food and even better service, the kind of place you’re happy you found while passing through.

The food was absolutely delicious. We ordered the pizza and added ricotta cheese at our server’s suggestion, which made it phenomenal. The chicken Alfredo was excellent, and the Italian cream cake was the perfect sweet ending to the meal. Everything was wonderful from start to finish. The hostess was very friendly, and the atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable. I’ve already been back three times since discovering this place and will definitely continue to return. Highly recommend!

We visited Mozzafiato for the first time at the end of February. We were on a mission to try an anchovy pizza for the first time. I am so glad we chose this place to be our anchovy ice breaker! The pizza was delicious, 10/10. The atmosphere is upscale but at the same time casual and cozy. Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful (shout out Jerry!). Cheesecake afterwards was delicious. Highly recommend, and I will be back.

We are from Galveston and we stopped into this hidden gym in Corpus Christi for dinner. We’re looking for a good pizza. We met Marti, our server and she was so helpful and talking about the menu and how long they’ve been there and made recommendations. We got a margarita pizza. My husband and I split a small Zeus salad. The portions were amazing and the taste is excellent. the pizza was crunchy on the bottom. The tomato sauce was fantastic. We split a bottle of bolla Chianti. We found out they’ve only been there since June and the place was packed! We’ve met Mark the owner and just had a delightful time!

Our server Nate was incredibly nice and attentive, we never went without having an empty drink. The owner was friendly and checked in on us and made conversation.
Atmosphere was warm, food was INCREDIBLE.
Everything we ordered was fresh and delicious. Their specialty pizzas (not pictured) were a hit with our party, they were eaten so fast I couldn’t get a picture of them!
Side salad was only $5 and it was a generous serving. The fettuccine was creamy and served with freshly made bread. The fried mozzarella squares (also not pictured) are a must try – so cheesy and crispy! Lastly, my FAVORITE part of the visit was the appetizer wings! Both hot honey and buffalo flavors were immaculate! Full of flavor, crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Would return for sure!!

The staff are incredibly warm and welcoming, the food is absolutely amazing! My wife and I LOVED the fried mozzarella and the pizza was to die for! This will be our new go to for gourmet pizza and a cold beer! Edited to add that the blueberry cheesecake and Italian cream cake are insane, we would’ve loved to take some home if we had any left!

Highly recommended! Absolutely the best! Local vibe with great atmosphere. Great staff, courteous and professional. We had Fried mozzarella, a large 1/2 La margarita and 1/2 II Giardino D’ Italia, a “Build your own” Pesto pizza, a homemade cheese cake and Italian cream cake. The Fried mozzarella squares were crispy and fresh with a marinara sauce, really good. All the pizzas were fantastic and a custom crust cooking is offered. The crust was crispy and chewy and not thick. The La margarita has sweet cherry tomatoes and fresh basil leaves. The II Giardino D’ Italia was a veggie pizza and the whole roast garlic was incredible. The “Build your own pizza”… Pesto pizza was perfect, it wasn’t too salty. The homemade cheese cake was very refreshing and tasty. The Italian cream cake was moist and nutty without being to sweet.

When I say this is the best place I’ve ever eaten at, I mean it. My partner got the pizza and he said it was genuinely the best thing he’s ever had. I had the Chicken Alfredo and you can definitely tell it was homemade (in a good way!) And the the cheesecake, oh my goodness, that thing was like heaven on earth. The server was great and once we got seated our food came out pretty quickly. Come here ASAP!

Incredible experience! The food is beyond amazing and the service was outstanding. The owner stopped by for introductions and was grateful and welcoming. That goes a long way! We had the fried mozzarella and a large pizza. So good!! The pizza has the best thin crust and everything is fresh and vibrant tasting. Highly recommend this special place.
