Great lunch specials during the week till about 230-300pm I believe. Great atmosphere, sports bar and restaurant. Plenty of screens with all kinds of sports on gor what ever you’d want to watch. Bar seating, and pub tables in bar section.

We walked in 20 minutes before closing and I asked if it’s ok if we come and order late. We were answered with an emphatic yes. Was served the most amazing food! Very satisfied!! Scar was the best server ever! 4 hungry adults that are not hungry anymore. Thanks uptown Charlies!

Great place to eat! They have the juiciest boneless chicken wings Their menu has something for everyone. Salads, burgers, cheesesteak subs, and a good kid’s selection as well. It’s a spacious place with several TVs. The bar area looks very nice. Staff is very friendly and service is pretty quick.

I’m really disappointed. We came by this restaurant to eat on a Sunday evening. There were two large tables. My husband said one was an 8 top table. The hostess claimed there were two 12 top tables, and she was not allowed to separate them. The only choice we were given was to eat outside or wait up to 45 minutes. I asked if those tables were reserved for a call ahead party. Her response was no. A group of 6 people came in before us and were told the same thing. Let me get this straight, you just had 12 people, in two different groups, that came through your door willing to eat and pay money, but you won’t separate the tables? You won’t separate them in case a hypothetical group of 12 comes in? If this hypothetical party of 12 comes in without a reservation, would they not have to wait until we are done eating? Just like you are asking me to wait? I hope you can see how ridiculous this is. This is bad customer service! We went up the road and spent money at another restaurant that wanted our business. Where has common sense gone?

One of the people in our group has a peanut allergy. We asked the receptionist if they use peanuts or peanut oil. She was rude and said she didn’t think so but wasn’t willing to verify.
It wasn’t until we were seated that our server informed us that they did use peanut oil so we had to leave.
It would have saved everyone a lot of time if the restaurant management did a better job of training their staff.

Nice little sports bar with great food. I ate ribs, and my wife had a shrimp skewer. Both were really good. It is loud inside, but hey, it is a sports bar. The place was packed and we were part of a larger group. Our waitress was ok bit was overwhelmed. Ill definitely go back.

We are regulars on Thursday wing night. We arrived at 5:30 and were told there was a 10 minute wait. We waited 20 minutes and were finally sat at a table that was open the entire time!! I asked the hostess Why we had to wait this long for a table that’s been available the entire time??? She said the kitchen was backed up so we couldn’t get seated…as a previous restaurant owner, this is not how you run a restaurant. Make it make sense????

Food was amazing, it was inexpensive. They only had like 2 waitresses for the 15-20 tables so service wasn’t as good as it could have been because she was rushed. But she was a great waitress. The atmosphere was okay, a lot of sports designs and tv’s. Food did take a while to come out but was worth the wait!

Just one complaint. DJ WILL I AM was rude in my opinion. When asked if a certain area was for sitting to wait to be seated…I got an abrupt “NO”. No explanation as to why. JUST “NO” I realize now that area was for Karaoke he was hosting later but his NO left me thinking “Wow. WELL EXCUUUUUSSSE ME FOR ASKING”.
This was my first time eating at Uptown Charlie’s. That’s why I didn’t know “that area” was NOT for sitting. DJ WILL I AM needs to realize not everyone knows who he is and what he does (at their first visit).
Otherwise, food was wonderful and Logan (our server) was wonderful!!
