Such a cutie brunch spot! The vibe, decor and atmosphere were on point and chill! Not to mention their bathrooms are selfie worthy! There was an eclectic brunch menu with lots of options! Live music a few days a week as well! Will definitely be going back!

We’ve been curious to check out Uptown for a while now, and I’m so glad we finally stopped in! It’s our new favorite spot in downtown Ansonia, with such a beautiful covered patio area that we could hang out on for hours. Great variety on the menu! We thought everything was delicious, and the drinks were good too. The food came out quickly, and our server was very nice. Can’t wait to come back and try more dishes!

Give a compliment to this food. I recently moved into the area and was told about this place. I ordered a burger from there but I wasn’t very hungry so I saved it. 3 days later this burger still has tons of flavor and cooked perfectly! The flavor and spice is off the charts. Definitely can’t wait to order another burger from here soon!

Let me tell you my husband and I were huge fans of Crave and at first didn’t understand the rebrand at first, but we were willing to give Uptown a try and it was amazing. Everything we ordered was perfect from dinner to the cocktails. Eddie was our waiter and he was great! I will say I have also been for lunch and the food we had was great but the service wasn’t so great, but this dinner was fabulous. Can’t wait to come back!

Poached Pear… presented sitting in a bowl of port wine reduction & honey marscapone cheese. Way too sweet. Would be better as a sliced grilled pear with port wine reduction drizzled over the top
Street Corn Dip… more like street corn soup. Too watery and couldn’t keep any on the tortilla chips
Tuna on sticky crispy rice…. crispy rice should be thin, not thicker than a rice crispy treat. All that rice takes away from the tuna.
Fig Flatbread…. undercooked & need a good flatbread
Deviled eggs…. we got the dill pickle & really didn’t have much taste & whipped yokes were runny
Drinks…. I ordered a Markers Old Fashion & got a Manhattan, wife ordered a Jack & Coke, tasted like they added simple syrup.
Maybe it was an off night.

The food was good, drinks were okay. The sangria came in a regular glass.. and the beer glasses were tiny. The dessert is always the best part here! All fresh made and delicious. Servers here are always nice.

Delicious! My wife and I had lunch here today, on the recommendation of a friend. Super friendly service from 2 servers! Convenient parking lot next to the restaurant.
Great drink menu and craft beers on tap. Salmon was delicious, as were the cauliflower tacos, black bean soup, and butternut squash soup.

Which were not served hot ♂️ maybe that’s how its served but who know, they came on a sauce that was amazing but it wasn’t enough so be sure to ask for extra.
1st Meal Shimp wrap, fries, and macaroni salad… The shrimp wrap if I were to change it, it’ll definitely come with more shrimp I mean who doesn’t love shrimp,
Fries appeared golden crispy BUT were soft … hmmm as if the oil was hot when they put them in ♂️
Macaroni salad Waste of space find a new recipe.
Meal #2 a Classic burger, fries and coleslaw… Classic Burger definitely gourmet, meat cooked as we asked “the rarity” I mean how often do you find a place that ever gets it right lol But the Burger was just that Plain Jane and the bun was a bit much for my liking, the fries were like the first meals and the coleslaw was definitely different but delicious loved it.
I’ll definitely be back to try other dishes on the menu that caught our eye so until next time
