That’s a bummer. I only ever go to the beer station, and it sounds like that is staying open but with craft beers from other breweries.

Always interesting beer selections with only a few to choose. Keep it simple approach keeps the FOMO managable. On a sunny day this place is gold. They should honestly have 1-10 scale signs available to heckle the drivers that cant handle the intersection. Its hilarious how many people fail here.

Reading this review felt like stepping into a different planet. Todd was incredible—attentive, sharp, and effortlessly creating a little sanctuary in the middle of chaos. I rolled in escaping the “yuck” of my former-partner roommate and was instantly transported: ambient music humming, lush greenery everywhere, nature visuals that somehow made the city quiet for a while.
Watching birds, elephants, and serene landscapes wasn’t “elevator music”—it was a rare, simple joy. Todd clearly cares about the space, the drinks, and the people lucky enough to be there.
As for this reviewer… either your Friday was a disaster, or your soul is allergic to beauty, curiosity, and a little fun. Maybe next time, try breathing, maybe order a beer, and see the world beyond your own grumbling. Todd is quietly building something special here—clearly, some folks just can’t handle it.

Funky repurposed gas station into a brewery outpost. Friendly service and indoor and outdoor door seating. No food, small tap list with a nice variety of beer styles . Grand saison beer was pretty good and same with the cream ale. Street parking, not the best neighborhood but fine during daylight hours.

After much anticipation, Upright Brewing has opened their NE taproom. A great selection of quality beer for reasonable prices. This will surely become a neighborhood hotspot especially as the weather warms up and people can take advantage of the outdoor seating.

Went to the new beer station thinking because it just opened it would be quiet… oh boy was I wrong! In a neighborhood needing a place like this the support the night we went was awesome! An old gas station remodeled into a coffee shop (@juniors) and tap room serving up sone of PDX’s best brews! A sandwich food cart is opening soon as well as more outside seating. Great little spot to have some really nice, interesting beers. The food trucks have great food, really looking forward to spending some summer nights out in their sitting area. Would be great if there were more food trucks, maybe eventually

People don’t talk about Upright half as much as they should – the beer here is FENOMENAL. Easily one of the best breweries there is. Beer is ultra balanced, it’s mind-blowing. Go here ASAP & tell all your friends.

Great beer and service. Unique tap room of definitely one of the very top breweries in Portland. Three beer engines with traditional British style ales and a side pull tap serving up delicious Czech and German lagers. Regular taps usually have several saisons, gruit or fruited ales to choose from. Most recently enjoyed an amazing kölsch with fresh Lorien hops from Goschie Farms.
