If you miss New England pizzeria’s, you will love the food. It was just what I was looking for and probably the best food I’ve had since arriving in NC. The marinara was a lil too sweet for me, but that’s just my own preference. The food was well seasoned, piping hot, and perfectly cooked.

This place has amazing pizza, but unfortunately the last few times we’ve gone the service has been subpar and their surprise “large party” fee on the bill might have been the last straw.
We went last night with friends- we sat at a high top with 6 chairs and 5 people at the table. 1 singular table. Our server was nice enough but only took our orders and brought us our drinks. After eating and getting the checks, we realize that we all had been charged a 20 percent “large party fee”. I understand for 8+ people or when tables are pushed together, but I have never seen a restaurant consider 5 people a large party. This seems like an attempt from staff to guarantee tips for subpar service. I’m just glad we caught it before leaving an additional 20 percent tip on top of that!

My wife and I moved to the area in January 2025, but are both born/raised in New Jersey. While not exactly hitting the nail on the head, this is the closet to good Jersey/NY pizza we have been able to find. While we don’t order out a lot, pizza is our go to and Up North Pizza is our usual go to. We have order carry out several times and have yet to be disappointed (have gotten atleast 1 new item each time).

Visited the restaurant after cruising the downtown area with the Wife as she enjoyed the pickled fries.. Grabbed a veggie pizza and a meatlovers for the kids. Everything was excellent with the addition of live music. Service was attentive and the waitress was prompt with taking our order. Will visit again!

First time visiting their new location. The new place is upscale and matches their name well! I didn’t have a good experience at the new location. The bartender and server spent alot of time looking at their phone. One song dropped the F-bomb several times. The lasagna was lacking in taste and the center was cold. However, the garlic bread was delicious. I mentioned the cold center to my server and no offer was made to reheat the plate. Upon leaving, nobody said goodbye or thanks for visiting today. Now, I’ve had their pizza before and the pizza is very good!

I recently visited Up North Pizzeria and had a fantastic experience. The pizza was delicious, with a perfect balance of toppings and a crispy crust. The burgers were equally impressive, juicy and full of flavor. The atmosphere was cozy, and the staff was friendly and attentive. I highly recommend checking this place out if you’re in the area!

The quality in the food has gone down since this place opened. The pizza used to be very flavorful with plenty of sauce, cheese and toppings. It seems like they are buying cheaper ingredients or skimping the ingredients. Please go back to the original. My first time here when they opened pizza was the best I’ve ever had. It’s had a fantastic experience at Up North Pizzeria! The pasta I ordered was absolutely amazing—perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. I was so caught up in enjoying my meal that I forgot to take pictures of my kids’ ravioli and pizza, which looked delicious as well.
The customer service was wonderful; the staff was incredibly patient with my indecisiveness and made some excellent suggestions for what to order. I truly appreciated their friendly demeanor and attentiveness. I can’t wait to return and try more of their menu!

Might be the best pizza in the area. Right now it’s pretty close between here and Brooklyn Pizzeria. My girl is from NY so she knows a little about pizza lol but honestly we really loved our food the other night. Everything was fresh and hot on arrival. This is our 2nd time ordering in the past week so it’s safe to say, you’ve got us hooked. Thanks!
