I’m 44 years of age and I’ve tried barbecue from all over the world. This place is hands-down the best barbecue I’ve ever had in my Entire life! Everything was cooked to perfection. The balance was probably the highlight by that I mean it wasn’t too. Smoky wasn’t too spicy wasn’t too moist wasn’t too dry. Everything was just on point. It was such a beautiful experience. The service was great. I was greeted at the window, I had the menu explained to me. I was offered extras which wasn’t needed, and the atmosphere was cozy. Like I was at an uncle’s house. Totally had A family get together type of vibe. Will I be back? I don’t think I could ever barbecue from somewhere else and not use up and smoke as a basis for comparison . To the owners, thank you for your hard work and dedication to your product.

I’m giving this place 5 stars across the board, even for the atmosphere. Make no mistake, this place is the definition of “hole in the wall”. When we pulled up it appeared to be busy with lots of take-away orders, however, you can still dine-in in the make shift structure attached to the building. It’s NOT fancy (which is part of the charm) but the food was amazing. The brisket is flavorful and juicy and their potato salad was delicious with a nice punch of dill flavor. We also ordered the smoked turkey leg and it was tender and had a nice smokey flavor that didn’t disappoint. We will definitely return and hopefully the next time I will remember to take a few pictures.

My 1st time here and I love the food. The people who work there are very polite and helpful. We sat in ate inside it was hot and small but the food was worth it.Briskets plate was delicious. The brisket had flavor it was just right. Potatoes salad had flavor and different compare to other bbq place which I love. The rice was good I love that it wasn’t dry or watery just perfect. The beans were ok but had flavor. The sausage my son love it he is a picky eater. My picky daughter ate all her food for once’s. Bbq sauce I love that it’s not spicy or sweet just perfect. Everything was nice warm. The drinks nice and cold. The place was clean and unique. Will be back soon!

Just dropped $25 for some over seasoned ribs, dry brisket and weird texture beans.
The only thing good on that plate was the rice (which was probably made by someones wife/grandma) and the sausage (which was package fully cooked). So congratulations, everything the pit master trimmed, seasoned & smoked himself was nasty. And the customer service was rude.

It was ok. I haven’t tried other BBQ places in Corpus yet, but I’ve had much better BBQ in Austin and even in Virginia. The rib meat fell off the bone, which was great, but didn’t have much flavor. The brisket tasted fine, but was too moist, to the point where it was mushy. The sausage tasted good but the casing had an overly firm consistency. The sides were pretty good. Service was quick and staff were friendly.

So delicious!! We happened to be en route to South Padre Island. The BBQ was amazing. Small place but there are 2 picnic tables or you can take it to go. My chopped bbq sandwich was so full of meat. My moms baked potato was massive also. I think she ate it for 3 meals. Anyway, highly highly recommend!

The meat was REALLY good. I got a brisket plate and turkey leg. But the sides are severely lacking, no flavor and tasted undercooked. The brisket portion was a little disappointing but the flavor made up for it. If you’re going to visit here your best bet is to get the meat by itself.

Was in robstown from Rockport area for business. I always look for someplace new. The reviews were good so I decided to try it. When I pulled up I was a bit skeptical. Ordered a little of everything to try it and boy was I glad I did. They exceeded my expectations. The brisket was tender and juicy, the ribs were delicious and the sausage was great. Very happy I went there. Will go again if I’m in the area.
