Social Profile:

A craft Cocktail Lounge, located near the W valet and downstairs to the PNW farm to table cuisine of James Beard award winning Chef and owner Jason Wilson of The Lakehouse Bellevue. Civility & Unrest is inspired by the cocktail culture and underground speakeasies of a bygone era. We showcase the finest in world-renowned vintage spirits, local craft distillers, flowing Champagne & sparkling selections, and local micro brews. An evening begins with a level of Civility – enjoy the clamor of our speakeasy in our lively whiskey bar in front. When intrigue is peaked and inhibitions are relaxed, venture to the Unrest – a seductive, intimate lounge hidden in the back.

Drinks made with local spirits are paired with Northwest-inspired small plates at this swank lounge.

Civility & Unrest is a stylish bar with great service and delicious drinks. The food was also really good, and everything came out nicely presented. The only downside was how loud it got — it was hard to keep a conversation going with my friends. If you’re here for cocktails and atmosphere, it’s perfect, but if you want to chat, you might want to pick a quieter spot. Keep in mind 20% tips included in the check.

A breadth of fresh air. I was looking for a nightcap and the staff welcomed me in even after they posted the forbidden closed sign.

The caipirinha I ordered took me back to São Paulo. But it wasn’t the perfect drink. It was, Jordan that made it. The most skilled social engineer I’ve met in years.

I was ready to pour my heart out over some silly trama but he saved me from myself. Cheers I owe you one I’ll be back the next time I need a friend to eloquently tell me to shut up.

We hosted a small gathering in the speakeasy section of Civility and Unrest. The service was good and the food was pretty good as well. Our bartender was great, we definitely did not have any complaints there. The vibes were vibing! Definitely recommend this spot for good food, drinks, and a nice place to have a conversation with friends or a partner.

Went here and the service was excellent. Walked in and loved the dark n moody vibe. You can hear conversations and not loud. Elijah the guy with the beard and bartender did amazing service. Ordered old fashion cocktails and it was great. Would come back!

A bar up front, a speakeasy in the back. This place has an incredible atmosphere, access to a good kitchen, and amazing drinks. It may be on the expensive side, but good drinks made by experienced bartenders in a downtown area bar are worth it. I look forward to trying new drinks in the future!

Our first time in. Drinks off the menu were great. Asked the bartender to make me something whiskey forward and it was awesome. Will definitely be coming back. I felt that the prices were spot on for what we got and the great service.

Paid $64 for a house whiskey on rocks and one lemon drop. They added costs out of nowhere and added a mandatory 20% service charge though it was a party of two. Drinks were basic. The room is way too bright, horrible seats, not romantic at all. Felt like a corporate spot.

Lovely underground speakeasy serving amazing cocktails. We stopped by on a weekday night and it wasnt a challenge to get a seat. Loved the ambience. We ordered Civil Unrest (whisky based cocktail like an old fashioned), Kiss of a Dragon (vodka based cocktail. Do eat the strawberry with your drink to enjoy the flavors), Seasons Changing (run based cocktail) and Lish City (gin based cocktail). Apart from the Lush City we really liked all our cocktails. They were phenomenal. The Lush City was okay ish not too bad though. Service was great. They have nice cozy booths as well to be seated. All in all loved this place and will be back again for sure!

High end cocktail bar, with very interesting cocktails choices, and good selection of wines.

They have good snack choices.

It’s at the lower level in the W Bellevue hotel.
Parking is available for the mall, or one can valet the car with the hotel.
