A Seated Cocktail Lounge, located downstairs and connected to the PNW farm to table cuisine of James Beard award winning Chef and owner Jason Wilson of The Lakehouse Bellevue. Civility & Unrest is inspired by the cocktail culture and underground speakeasies of a bygone era. We showcase the finest in world-renowned vintage spirits, local craft distillers, flowing Champagne & sparkling selections, and local micro brews. An evening begins with a level of Civility – enjoy the clamor of our speakeasy in our lively whiskey bar in front. When intrigue is peaked and inhibitions are relaxed, venture to the Unrest – a seductive, intimate lounge hidden in the back.
Drinks made with local spirits are paired with Northwest-inspired small plates at this swank lounge.

It’s in downtown Bellevue which is convenient if you live in the area. Good drink selection and kind staff. Ambiance is cozy and sultry. Recommend the Persephone’s Dream cocktail. Good place to have a lounge vibe with friends or with a partner. Good date spot for a first date. Cozy, hidden, and chill vibe. Upscale and taken care of. Recommend to any locals in Bellevue.

Lovely underground speakeasy serving amazing cocktails. We stopped by on a weekday night and it wasnt a challenge to get a seat. Loved the ambience. We ordered Civil Unrest (whisky based cocktail like an old fashioned), Kiss of a Dragon (vodka based cocktail. Do eat the strawberry with your drink to enjoy the flavors), Seasons Changing (run based cocktail) and Lish City (gin based cocktail). Apart from the Lush City we really liked all our cocktails. They were phenomenal. The Lush City was okay ish not too bad though. Service was great. They have nice cozy booths as well to be seated. All in all loved this place and will be back again for sure!

I mean I pretty much hated this place. It’s pretty much intended for people at the hotel id say. It’s cramped in there, food is not bad but not great. Parking is far due to the hotel situation but it’s available. Service is pretty below the bar

Our first time in. Drinks off the menu were great. Asked the bartender to make me something whiskey forward and it was awesome. Will definitely be coming back. I felt that the prices were spot on for what we got and the great service.

So I love a good speakeasy so I was so excited to try this place. The vast amount of whiskey options were great and the old fashion was good. My red sangria was too tart and the vibe was lackluster. I fully understand Bellevue is an expensive location and don’t mind the price for a nice night out, however I don’t like hidden fees. Also by the wording I don’t understand if the service charge is kept by the company and not given to the bartender which makes it feel like you’re paying a 20% service fee and then expected to pay 20% tip. Just raise your price and be upfront.

We had such a great experience here!! We were seated in the back and were attended to immediately. We were asked what we liked to drink and my bf told the bartender that he would like something fresh and light. I said that I’d like to be surprised.
