Had an incredible evening – the wine list is extensive and I love that you can get smaller pours so allow more tastings! Food was in-credible. Absolutely wonderful! Service was top-notch, very friendly and knowledgeable. Can’t wait to go back! Definitely a treat.

First time at the beautiful Unwined location at 1 Nashua St in Milford and it was the perfect brunch experience.

We opted for the bubble tray, which came with a bottle of prosecco and the four juice options for their mimosas. Cranberry, Grapefruit, Orange, and Pineapple with the appropriate garnishes of assorted fruits. Very tasty, fun, and perfect to share.

For food we opted for the Maple Gochujan Pork Belly and the Shakshuka Frittata. Both were outstanding and full of unique flavors that complimented each other.

Accompanying our entrees was a delicious parfait and roasted carrots which complimented our entrees perfectly.

The cherry on top of our fantastic experience was the relaxed atmosphere and the uber friendly staff that help keep Unwined running smoothly.

Can’t wait to come back and dive into the dinner menu.

Excellent food and service. Nice wine selection. We had the chefs choice menu with only savory choices, and wine pairing. Each dish was excellent, and the server made sure we liked the wines she paired with them.

We had a fantastic dining experience at Unwined in Milford, NH. From the moment we walked in, we were struck by the warm and inviting ambience.

We were seated by the window, where we had a lovely view of the beautiful deck overlooking the Oval. It looks like the perfect spot for outdoor dining, and we can’t wait to come back and enjoy it in the summer.

The service was top-notch, with an attentive and friendly team. It’s always a pleasure to dine somewhere where the staff genuinely cares about the experience.

As for the food and drinks—everything was delicious and made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The crispy skin chicken was perfectly cooked, with a beautifully crisp exterior and juicy, flavorful meat. The Main Grain Grits were rich, creamy, and the perfect complement to the NY Strip. Another standout was the Grilled Cabbage Caesar, a unique and flavorful twist on the classic salad, with just the right amount of char and a delicious dressing. Our main courses were cooked to the perfect temperature, showing great attention to detail in the kitchen.

Overall, Unwined delivers on all fronts—great food, great drinks, and a great atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back!

Went here to celebrate my mom’s birthday- not only were the food and cocktails incredible, but the service provided by George and Jess was excellent. Jess sold us on the tasting menu, which wasn’t even on our radar, and I’m so glad she did. Chef Matt blew us away with the flavors and plating. The quality of the food, the story telling behind the local farms and flavors- immaculate. Highly recommend for any foodie out there. We cannot wait to go back again!

Wow!!!! What an incredible experience. I don’t know if I have words. The service, impeccable. The owner was active in service and engaging with guests. You would think with menu the place might be a little pretentious but it was fun, relaxed and a great vibe. Of course I had to save the best for last. The food was absolutely one of the best meals I’ve had in a very long time. Every bite was so good it made you chew your food slower so you could taste it longer. Pricing for local fare prepared like this are more than fair. I will be making this place a habit.

May 2024: Milford has become a foodie destination. Unwind is the newest restaurant in downtown Milford. It has been open for 10 weeks, and is located in a brand new, very attractive space. It also has a large outdoor terrace with umbrellas for summertime. The restaurant is located on the second floor with steep stairs, but Nashua has an entrance with an elevator. The space looks attractive, but it is quite loud and hard to carry on a conversation at a normal voice level.
We had tapas: shrimp was outstanding, calamari was good but I think I would have enjoyed it even more if it was warm, lamb Kafka was okay, and so was the ostrich. For dessert I had fresh fruit and it was a perfect ending, refreshing and fresh. My husband had chocolate pate, which was chocolate fudge with a more attractive name. It was good. We plan to come back!

Had an enjoyable evening at Unwined in Milford for a Girl’s Night Out of drinks and appetizers! Our server was very friendly and provided good service and very helpful recommendations for wine and for selecting several shared appetizers as well as dessert. I opted for the “Why So Blue?” Blueberry Lemonade Vodka cocktail which was very refreshing and flavorful. We were very impressed with the presentation, taste and quality of the appetizers, we tried the Halloumi Fries, Eggplant Bruschetta and the Cheese Plate with Charcuterie. For desserts we tried the Chocolate Pate (true to the server’s word it tasted like brownie batter, very delicious!) and the Blueberry Cake which was very tasty as well! The owner stopped by our table to say hello and to see how everything was, and was very pleasant to talk to. While they have a good size patio overlooking the Milford Oval, we opted to stay out of the heat inside the air conditioned dining room which was very comfortable and tastefully decorated with great big windows for natural light, and we could still look out over the oval from our seat by the window. We will definitely be back!

Love the town of Milford, but our dining options were somewhat limited when it came time to pair wines with good food. The Mileaway is classic but getting a little dated and Greenleaf made an excellent farm to table splash, and while offering great cocktails the wine list left us wanting more. Well enter Unwined, a great new spot over looking the Oval.

Restaurant owner Emma has created an extensive wine list offering to pair alongside their incredible cuisine. We are so excited to welcome this new spot the town, and wish nothing but the absolute best to the team here.

Their service was welcoming, from the time we arrived till the walk out of the door. Milford has needed a great wine pairing destination and I believe this spot will open the door to others. Well done! We’re looking forward to another visit. Thank you again for everything

My partner’s family and I recently visited Unwined to catch up and have dinner, and it was honestly subpar

Items ordered: Various wines and cocktails, French fries, marinated olives, homemade chips, arancini, Caesar salad, cauliflower “steak” (vegan option), NY Strip, rack of lamb

Pros:
– The wine and alcohol selection is superb and we were all impressed with it. Both domestic and international wines and alcohols were offered.
– The appetizers and tapas are pretty tasty and easy to share
– Our waitress was prompt and friendly, and made sure our needs were met throughout the evening
– The outdoor seating was very relaxed, but a bit loud because of the tough guys riding their motorcycles through the Oval

Cons:
– The main course meals were honestly subpar and overpriced.
– The arancini needed more seasoning
– Our Vegan reported that the cauliflower “steak” was literally just half a charred head of cauliflower with little to no seasoning or sauce
– My partner had the NY Strip which was charred and tough. I have cooked much better strips at home myself; and I’m not a professional chef.
– I ordered the rack of lamb. The quality of the meat was good, but the theme of everything being charred continued. Someone tell the chef not everything needs to be charred on the outside. Save that for high quality burgers and steakhouse filets.
– The price you pay for the quality of food you get is absolutely insane. The cauliflower steak was ~$30 (what?!), and the strip and lamb were ~$40-46

Overall group experience: Our experience at Unwined was honestly subpar. The wine and cocktails are easily the best part. Avoid the main courses as they are extremely overpriced with poor quality, and stick to the tapas. The restaurant is new, so I’m hoping in a year or so it will improve.

My personal recommendation: If you want high quality dining with comparable drinks, better food that’s actually worth the pricetag in Milford, head on down the street to Greenleaf for a better experience. If you just want a place for a glass of wine and an appetizer or two, Unwined is just okay.
