We came for lunch and the place was quite empty at that time.
The food portions were generous and the taste was good.
However, it seemed like the food was prepared in large batches and stored, then reheated when a customer ordered. Because of that, the food didn’t feel very fresh. Still, it’s understandable since there was only one person working.
Overall, decent food with good portions, but freshness could be improved.

The amount of food was insane! In the picture, got a side of hummus, salad and pita. Best hummus I’ve had in a long time! The chicken shawarma wrap was way too big (not a bad thing) and honestly wish it had more meat. The wrap used should’ve been a pita imo.

Amazing food. I got the Palestinian platter and the Combo Plate. This is the best food and most importantly this is a family owned small business. The people are so kind and welcoming. I am from Chicago and have had food from all over, this place has the best food ever!!!! Unbelievably good. May God continue to bless this establishment. I’ve been here two weeks in a row so far. The owner is such a nice person to talk to and conversate with.

This meal is a perfect balance of nutrition and flavor! The chicken rice was cooked just right—tender, well-seasoned, and paired perfectly with fluffy rice. The hummus was creamy, rich, and full of authentic flavor, making it a great complement to the meal. The small salad was not so fresh and crisp, but still adding a refreshing contrast to the dish.

Located conveniently near downtown and on campus, UPD feels like it may be more familiar to college students than many working in the city but to their loss as this is a lunch gem not to be missed. The best falafel I’ve had, period. Fresh hummus. Lamb plates. Black tea from the pot (excellent on a lazy rainy day, from experience). Also, this town has a Hawaiian pizza deficit and UPD doesn’t only offer it but does so in personal sized pies. Ordering through the Slice app ahead is also my favorite online ordering experience I’ve had with food in Chatt and has always been hot and ready to go when I’ve been on the move. A treasure with a little actual history in the city when trendy glossy brunch holes keep popping up all over town. Keep your palete engaged and Chattanooga flavorful by giving this a shot next time you need to get lunch out.

This was an absolutely fantastic experience! The owner is amazing and the food is as well!
I have not had Mediterranean in a couple of months so I was 100% satisfied!! The grape leaves were perfect! Falafels, I should have gotten an extra order to take home! Granted we did have one to take home… which is never good to just take one home. We split the combo plate which was more than enough for two!
It wasn’t crowded at all because of spring break and the late afternoon arrival!

We was expecting the food peculiar the lamb and rice to be great. (use to be called Jerusalem platter) before they shut down and reopened. The lamb was plain jane,no garlic or any seasoning don’t know what the deal was. It was a cheap meal so no complaints there but I missed the spiced up lamb they use to serve. So I was very disappointed.

We had the Palestinian plate and chicken swarma platter both excellent and wonderful seasoning. Best falafels I’ve ever had, moist inside with lots of herbs,a bit spicy and crispy outside. Low key atmosphere. Owner Akram was so friendly! Food was out in 10 minutes! Super fast! I almost felt like I was invited into someone’s home he was so friendly in a family comfortable way. Akram remembers his customers. Portions were very generous.
