First timer for the lunch buffet. Went with three co-workers. All three gave it five stars and have been here multiple times prior. Solid four star place for me. I’m not a buffet type of guy, but thought it was worth a try. The chicken wings were pretty good for not being served at my local tavern with my favorite hot sauce. The white rice was nice and sticky and very, very good. The various chicken and beef I tried was also pretty good. Finished with the soft serve ice cream which was nice and dense and very cold. Overall worth a lunch or dinner visit if you are in Schenectady.

The buffet here is very good. Wife variety of see food and meats. Coconut shrimp is the best. Other varieties of shrimp are good too. Paid about 20$ which is very reasonable for the amount of food I ate. Size is on the bigger side. Parking lot with enough space. Other grocery and shops are near by in the same plaza.

The best Chinese buffet in the capital region hands down! The food on the buffet table is fresh and offers a variety of selections to suit everyone’s taste! The desserts are unique and very interesting ( caramelized twisted bread, patries, peanut praline, ice cream, and fruits).

I gave it a 4 cause the food was good yet had too much vegetables in the rice yet everything else was so so good, the service there in my section was a horrible lady The waitress was didn’t pick the empty dishes since we got there and there were 5 of us eating, can you imagine how much dirty plates there was, I really don’t think she likes her job at all, I was told she was new , hello!!! no excuse for that behavior, she was so bad someone gave her a penny tip, and she threw it across the floor, the atmosphere is always good here, I will be back again.

This place is awesome! Second time being here and the good folks at United did NOT disappoint! With a huge variety of traditional Chinese dishes and a smattering of more American tastes to placate even the most stubborn child’s palate you simply cannot go wrong dining here. Parking is always close to maxed out but seating never seems to be an issue. The staff is friendly and courteous, and the restaurant itself is remarkably clean when you consider how many folks are grazing like mad at any given moment. I’ve never seen a dish run empty and I’ve yet to even be able to sample a bite of everything they have to offer. Even their sweet tea is notably fresh and delicious! Next time I’ll try taking a to-go plate instead of the full buffet experience just to report on whether you should skip it if you don’t have time to stay and get your $19 worth in an all-you-can-eat session.

The food is excellent and the servicers are very polite and attentive. Had an issue today when I got take out and ordered an unsweetened iced tea and asked for sugars on the side. The hostess kept saying “It’s sweet or unsweetened” and didn’t seem to get the concept and seemed annoyed. The young man who spoke perfect English understood but in the end she finally gave me sweet and low. When I asked for regular sugar he said “That’s all we have.” Hard to believe that!!! He apparently didn’t want to be bothered looking for the real sugar.

Beware of their wall of shame for “dine and dashers.” We recently got accused of not paying by the same server who took our card, charged it, and brought it back with fortune cookies a few minutes after we packed up and went to leave. The servers are also in such a rush to get you out of there, they dump your plate while you’re still eating and then get confused on who paid or not. Assume that the people they posted on the wall of shame are victims of their carelessness and left before they could get things straight. They should learn to keep their tickets organized before they publically shame the innocent.

Popular all-you-can-eat buffet. Extensive and largely Chinese fare (nothing spicy) but with American offerings (beef carving station, mac and cheese, wings), Asian barbecue, and sushi. Our party of seven arrived shortly after 5 on a weekday and were seated immediately; when we left an hour later, there was a line to get in. Everyone enjoyed most of what was sampled. Decor appeared to be left over from a previous branding; our area’s walls sported Rockwell prints. Table service was limited to occasional plate clearing and drink refills, but only when requested. Discounts offered for seniors and kids under 9.
