We were passing by and heard people mentioning that the Pub had just reopened after being closed due to a flood. We stopped in for a drink. They have brunch Sat and Sun. Reasonable drink prices – mimosas and Bloody Marys! We heard other customers talking about the biscuit breakfast sandwiches so we decided to go back again the next day! Well worth it. They did run out of biscuits but thankfully we got ours. The sandwich was great. It came with potatoes and they were delicious as well. We sat at the bar both days and chatted with Becca. Next time we are in town we will definitely make this brunch our stop!

Union Jack Pub has become one of our absolute favorite spots in town. My husband and I have had their brunch several times—it is consistently fantastic. The food is always fresh and delicious, and you can tell they put real care into every dish.
What truly sets this place apart, though, is the staff. They’re always pleasant, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. It’s the kind of service that makes you feel like you’re part of the place, not just a customer passing through.
We’re so happy our hometown has such a cool, comfortable spot where we actually want to spend time. Highly recommend!

I went here recently. The food is pretty good. Enjoyable and fun. However, my most recent visit, the entrees came out almost simultaneously with the appetizers, which is a pet peeve. Then I had barely taken two bites of my food and the waiter was bringing take home boxes. I was signing the check before I had even finished one glass of wine. The place was not full, so I saw no reason for this. All told, I spent over $100 on dinner. It may not be a lot to people, but it is to me. I don’t go out much and I felt like I was a nuisance to the restaurant because I wanted to linger past an hour from beginning to end. I won’t revisit it any time soon. I will start to save my “going out” money again an pick a place that allows me to relax.

We stopped here for lunch on a Friday afternoon at the end of February while traveling. I have been here once or twice before while in town for concerts. In this occasion we sat at the bar. There weren’t too many other customers so it was pretty quiet. Other times when I have been here in the evening it has been busy.
We ordered the Reuben and a salad with chicken. Both were good. I wasn’t sure if I could add chicken to the salad since it wasn’t listed on the menu. If I’d have known it was $10 just for the chicken on a $12 salad I probably would have ordered something else. I’m used to seeing $10 for shrimp but not chicken. It was fine tho, just noting here so others are aware. The apples on that salad were pretty tasty and I liked the dressing.
The bartender was friendly and attentive. They have a good selection of liquors and beers.
Not sure if there are nearby parking lots or not but we parked on the street and walked over no problem. Winchester uses ParkMobile which is easy so that’s nice and I think it was $1.25 for an hour and a half.
Like I said earlier, I’ve been here a couple times. I’ll probably go back again.

Union Jack’s Pub continues to be one of my favorite go-to spots for great food, friendly service, and outstanding drinks. Whether you’re stopping in for a casual bite or planning a weekend get-together, this place never disappoints.
Their weekend brunch on Saturday and Sunday is truly a standout. The menu has something for everyone, but the Sunshine Sandwich deserves special praise—absolutely delicious, perfectly made every time, and surprisingly affordable. It’s one of those dishes you find yourself craving again and again.
The service is consistently warm and attentive, and the staff always make you feel genuinely welcome. Pair that with their excellent drink selection—whether you’re in the mood for a cocktail, a cold beer, or a brunch-worthy mimosa—and you’ve got the recipe for a perfect outing.
Union Jack’s Pub nails it across the board. Great food, great vibe, great people… and that brunch is simply outstanding. Highly recommended!

It was a tale of two meals. The tuna tacos were delicious and very well prepared. The salmon burger on its own had trouble staying together – although it was tasty – but the kimchi that came on the sandwich was probably the saltiest thing I’ve ever been served which impacted everything it touched. The lunch service also took an exceptionally long time – which was not just our experience. At least it was a beautiful day to enjoy the patio.

Fish and chips – a good deal for $22. The fish was pretty much hanging off the plate and there was a nice amount of chips.
However, it was quite bland. Gave it a couple splashes of vinegar and some salt and all was well again.

Ordered the smash burger with bacon.
My wife had the shepherds pie.
Both were delicious. And very well prepared.
Juicy burger, fresh toppings, GREAT pub style fries. And very good onion rings.
Would definitely recommend!

Lots of great restaurants on the Old Town Winchester road. This one has a British theme (hense the name) and has excellent food and service. We only had appetizers but they were delicious (buffalo Mac and cheese and sliders with chips). Their beef is locally sourced and you can tell: juicy and full of flavor. The Mac and cheese was very cheesy! Will definitely be coming back.
