Best souffle pancakes in the Bay area now that Sweethoney doesn’t serve them anymore. Don’t have to deal with Hanabusa’s process/service shenanigans.

Mango is my go-to I keep going back to as I found the chocolate, matcha, and tiramisu ones too sweet, but the salted cheese was the surprise breakout. It tasted just like the “cheese” cream top that comes on boba tea drinks, and the salt really balances the dish which can lean a bit sweet. Kind of like how salt enhances caramel. The boba on it were nice and soft and chewy too, which I guess makes sense since the sister of the owners owned a Quickly. This might be my new go-to flavor when coming here.

I haven’t had the drinks since the pancakes are the star here and I can’t drink a sweet drink along with a dessert because I would get too sweeted out.

The mochi waffle is not bad either but why would you get that if you can get souffle pancakes? I’d rather save my mochi waffle stomach for Dessert Story.

The service was excellent today and was the perfect pick-me-up Friday afternoon treat for us. We tried the chocolate soufflé with fresh strawberries and whipped cream which was delicious and soft and fluffy. We also got the sunset boulevard drink with less sugar and it was very fresh and delicious! And we got the dirty boba milk tea sugar drink with less sugar too and it was also tasty.

So glad I found this Japanese Soufflé Pancake place. Loved the cookie’n cream, chocolate and tiramisu flavors, matcha was good with red beans. Drink recommend mango sago. Purple dreamer Milk tea with boba was delicious too. They can do either cold or hot milk tea. Free street parking with time range from 20 min, 1 hr to 2 hrs. Definitely will comeback to try other flavors

I came across Uni Souffle on Yelp and HAD to try it. So, we made a plan and drove to Milbrae specifically to try them out. We ordered the Pink Unicorn tea, which was super good, and another mango/strawberry (Sunset maybe?) tea, that I really enjoyed as well. Now, on to the souffles. They weren’t quite what I was expecting, way fluffier, and way more egg-like than I thought they would be. We shared the strawberry and the cookies and cream, and the four of us (2 adults, 2 kids) didn’t come close to finishing them. It’s a lot. Delicious, but really rich and sweet. We decided we’d go back when we’re in the neighborhood to try different flavors of both the teas and souffles. All in all, a fun little adventure for a super tasty treat!

First time trying this place out. Looks very cute.

This review is for the mango sago drink.

Never had this drink here before but have had it at other places. This taste very much like the mango puddings you get at chinese restaurants. If you are looking for a mango smoothie, this is not it.

Reasons for 3 stars:
1. The drink splits, does not look appetizing
2. The sago is frozen

I came here with a friend about 30 minutes to closing. They let us come in and we ordered the strawberry and tiramisu souffle. Inside is pretty small, but super cute with pink walls. They made them really fast and we left to eat outside. The souffles were really fluffy and tasty as well. However, I think they were a bit too sweet than I had anticipated. The sauce it came with was definitely too sweet for me. While we had gotten our own, I think these can definitely be shared. I would probably come back, but the souffles were really sweet.

Very very very PINK in the store! I do like the decor though. It’s not a very big shop. There are 2 small tables and bench along the wall. Ordered the Mango excape ( fresh mango slush), surpreme Okinawa ( dark brown sugar with roasted black milk tea), and a strawberry souffle.
Mango excape says that it is fresh mango but there is definitely artificial mango flavor in it. Not sure if there is any real mango in there or not. Its not bad but I would be nice if it was real mango.
Surpreme Okinawa was ok. A bit light on the brown sugar flavor.
Strawberry souffle has sliced strawberries and a strawberry cream sauce on top. The sauce doesn’t taste like strawberry. Souffle it’s self was very fluffy. It was almost like eating a cloud! Ok, I’m exaggerating but you get the point. 4 stars for the souffle and 3 stars the the drinks.

I think they need to refine a few things…the dessert is yummy but the upcharge comes with expectations of ambiance and looks. I think it’s still early, but seems like they need some quality control for how these souffle pancakes look and to clean up the space a bit better, perhaps a few tables or chairs or bar space.

Got the cookies and cream and salted cheese soufflé. Also the mochi waffles! My favorite was the salted cheese soufflé and mochi waffles. Delivered via Uber eats but prob better hot and fresh.

I got the tiramisu, take out. It was nice and jiggly like I’ve seen videos of online. It was the first time I’ve eaten this kind of pancake so I don’t know if it’s fluffliness or that it’s really thick and mushy – but it wasn’t my preference. It was ok.
