A great neighborhood restaurant with top-quality food and custom wine pairings. We started with anchovies as an appetizer, which paired perfectly with a white wine from Croatia. The mushroom pate was incredibly tasty and unique. I wish they sold it to-go so I could try it with my wine collection (they don’t). Steak frites was cooked to perfection which paired well with a special wine from South Africa (Mullineux). Overall very happy to find a place where an outstanding custom wine pairing is offered. Definitely recommend to try out!!

Great time at Ungrafted last night! Me and my wife went for a date night, the staff were amazingly friendly and gave great wine paring recommendations. I loved the Cornish Hen! Sooo good! will definitely be going back

Low 3-stars. The food was average for what you’re paying. This options on this season’s menu were mid.
We ordered the calamari, shishito peppers, cod catch of the day and beef cheeks. Cod was over cooked, fry and the truffle garnish was flavorless. Everything else was not memorable. The beef cheeks were probably the best thing we ordered and even then I would not order it again. We were seated in a weird spot next to the wine bottles lol, my bf had the view of the bathroom the entire time
Wine selection was great though, would come back for wine tasting but skip the food.

Food was okay. Had high hopes on this place after hearing about the head chef. Most disappointed with the short rib. Came out under seasoned and over cooked for my liking. Appetizers were decent, but again, expected more.

Great place for some wine with creative food. All the food was beautifully presented, and most was good. Very creative dishes. There are small, medium and large plates so you can eat as much or little as you want. Service was excellent and wine was good. Would definitely go back.

Glad we finally got the chance to come and enjoy the food, wine, and atmosphere of Ungrafted! Great wines selected by the sommeliers and very creative and delicious food. We didn’t even intend to go entirely vegetarian, but so glad we did! Loved the mushroom parfait the most! Will definitely go back for this dish every time.

Fantastic food from Chef David Aviles, trained at Acadia and other fine restaurants in Chicago. Here the dishes are familiar and approachable, with a spicy twist or a zest of surprise. Great selection of wines, beers and some interesting non-alcoholic options (try their sparkling Riesling!) Warm-industrial setting, knowledgeable and friendly staff.

Our group all ordered the lunch set at $48/person. The food was plated well, tasted balanced and overall very satisfying. Service was good but we were expecting a bit more introduction on the wine pairing since wine is their forte.

Food was not to my liking, flavors were overpowering—ordered the cauliflower which was extremely smoky and tingly? The cooked cabbage, the deviled eggs, and the salad. Overall I give this place a good rating because the atmosphere is great, the wine selection is even better, and the server was kind, knowledgeable and accommodating to my gluten allergy.
