Unglo Thai BBQ is an absolute hidden gem in New York. The food is incredibly delicious, especially the Thai BBQ (Moo Kratha), which tastes authentic and full of flavor. The meats are fresh, well-marinated, and perfect for grilling, while the Thai dipping sauce truly elevates the whole experience.

What impressed me just as much as the food was the atmosphere. The restaurant has a warm, lively, and welcoming vibe, making it a great place to enjoy a meal with friends or family. The BBQ-style dining adds a fun and interactive element to the experience.

The service was excellent — the staff were friendly, attentive, and always happy to help, especially for first-time visitors trying Thai BBQ. Overall, this is a fantastic place for anyone looking for great food, a cozy atmosphere, and outstanding service. I would definitely come back again.

First timer here and food/service was amazing. Ive been to several Thai restaurants in the city and I must say that the food here is very unique. Highly recommend the grilled branzino and Som-O salad! Service by Tae was excellent! Overall, there are mah flavors involved. The pumpkin cake was something I’ve never encountered before. It was not too sweet and the crumbled nuts complemented the palate perfectly.

This was our first time visiting Unglo Thai Restaurant & Bar, and we had a wonderful experience. Our waiter, Tae, greeted us warmly and explained the menu options very clearly. His service was attentive, and his recommendations were spot-on. The lunch combo was excellent — delicious, well-portioned, and a great value.

We ordered the crispy pork belly as an appetizer, and it was perfectly crunchy. I had the shrimp Pad Thai with a two-dumpling combo, while my friend ordered the seafood Pad Cha. The seafood was incredibly fresh, and the flavors were outstanding. Tae also recommended the sticky rice with coconut ice cream for dessert, which turned out to be the star of the meal.

We’ll definitely be back.

I’ve been here once before, and coming back this time to try the food in a new format was such a great experience. I truly enjoyed everything and was very impressed.

We had the crispy fried pork belly and the glass noodle salad, but the highlight for me was the grilled fish. It was thoughtfully deboned and served with a nutty dipping sauce, paired with white fennel leaves as garnish incredibly aromatic and absolutely delicious.

I also ordered the baked salted prawns, which were so fragrant and came with a perfectly balanced seafood dipping sauce.

More than anything, the service here was outstanding. Thank you to Trin, our server, for always checking in and recommending drinks. And a big thank you to Pree for making the Lychee Cloud and Calm Fire.I was especially impressed by the cheese foam.

I’ll definitely be back. If you haven’t been here yet, this place is a must try.!!

Came here for dinner and honestly loved everything about the experience. The food was absolutely delicious! The curry noodles were rich, creamy, and perfectly spiced, and the wagyu fried rice was full of flavor without being greasy. You can really tell the dishes are made with care and quality ingredients. On top of that, the service was excellent—friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming without rushing us. Great food, great drinks, and great service all around. I’d definitely come back.

Came here before a show at Lincoln Center and it turned out to be such a solid choice.
The wagyu fried rice is a must order, super smoky, fluffy grains with egg mixed in perfectly, and it somehow gets better with the chili sauce.

I also loved the tom zaab beef soup, the sour and slightly spicy broth was so balanced that I kept drinking it till the bottom of the bowl.
The finger ribs were ridiculously juicy and rich, definitely one of those dishes you need rice for.Crispy pork belly was exactly what you want it to be, crunchy outside, fatty but not greasy inside.

Dessert surprised us too, the coconut ice cream came with way more toppings than expected and was easily shareable.
Overall the food is flavorful and thoughtful, and I’d happily come back just for a few of these dishes alone.

Had a great dining experience at UNGLO BBQ New York. The quality of the meats and overall flavors were outstanding, and the restaurant had a lively but comfortable vibe. We enjoyed Miyazaki Wagyu rib cap so much. American Wagyu frank is also good. Assorted vegetable is a must order because it goes with the chicken soup base hot pot perfectly. Our waiter, Taew, was absolutely wonderful—professional, attentive, and incredibly friendly. He made us feel taken care of the entire time. This place is a must-visit, especially with service like that.

Overall, a good experience. Some of the dishes were spicy, but that’s expected for Thai, so remember to request spice level. The service is very cordial and friendly. I love the interior atmosphere, very modern and spacious. One thought is that I felt they served the main dishes, even though we were not done with the appetizers. But for a very modern spacious Thai restaurant in this neighborhood, this is a very welcome addition.

Came here thinking it was just another Thai restaurant and ended up really impressed, especially by the cocktail menu — way more creative than expected.
Food was solid across the board. The grilled branzino was excellent (crispy skin, juicy inside), and the tom yum seafood soup was richer and less sour than usual, almost comforting.
Prices are very reasonable for this area, and happy hour runs daily with both drinks and small bites. Definitely coming back to try the cocktails next time.
