Stopped by while enroute to Minneapolis. Hungry for soup or salad and the menu looked good. It’s just off the freeway, which is very convenient. When you enter, you walk straight ahead to the counter to order. It has a large dining area with plenty of natural light from the large windows. The design is upbeat and fun.

When we arrived, around 1pm, there were only a few small groups. We got to order right away, a couple of salads and iced tea. They give you a number placard, which you take to the table, and then they deliver the food. The server was pleasant and helpful.

It was cold and windy outside, and unfortunately it wasn’t much warmer inside. We went to find a table somewhere warm and not made colder by the doors that led directly outside, since there is no vestibule. No luck, the place was just cold. Good thing I had my knit hat.

After a short while, we got our two salads. I got the Empire Pecan Salad, and my partner got the Southwest Chicken Salad. They looked great. Plenty of mixed ingredients, good portions, and everything was fresh. Much of the time when you get a good salad, it’s only the top layer and everything below is lettuce. These salads were full of tasty stuff all the way to the bottom. Might be one of the best salads I have had in this class of restaurants.

So our visit was mixed. The food was very good, but it was so cold inside that it made things uncomfortable. Even though we were away from the front door, there is a side door that people kept exiting from, and the cold air just blew right through the place. We would come back, just not during the cold months.

The sandwiches and soups we tried were delicious! My stepdaughter said the Tomato Bisque was the best tomato soup she has ever had…and I agree! Our new favorite place in The Dells!

This was our first time at Tommy Salami’s and we’re all saying… “FUGGEDABOUDIT”.
Our boys enjoyed their personal pizzas with chips and fruit. My husband got the New Yorkster with a cup of tomato bisque soup. There was so much meat on his – it was at least 3 inches thick!!
I had the The Big Cheese with a cup of the tomato bisque soup as well. We all loved our food and look forward to stopping again next time we’re in the Dells!!

We are in town for Colossalcon North and wanted to have a decent yet not heavy lunch before load in. I found Tommy Salami’s on Google maps and decided to give it a try. The man and woman behind the counter were awesome! I got the Big Cheese which comes with their tomato bisque and my husband got the Pesto Situation with Broccoli & Cheese Soup. We both shared many bites with each other as the food was really delicious! So good in fact, that I saved them in my favorites for when we come back in the following years! I wish they had one of these in our home town

This was our first time at Tommy Salami’s. The staff was so friendly and helpful but the star of the show were the sandwiches. They were piled high and freshly toasted. From the very first bite I realized this was one of if not the best sandwich I have ever had the pleasure of eating. I only wish there was a Tommy Salami’s near me as I travel to Wisconsin Dells once a year. I even bought one of their t shirts to proudly wear. Looking forward to my next visit for sure. #FUGGETABOUTIT

Was driving by and saw this place and decided to give it a shot. Love the name. Its a great setup inside and out. Spoke to the owner found out they are 3 months new. Very friendly, the food has great portions and very tasty. Will definitely be back when we visit the dells again. Thinks its a great spot, around a lot of hotels just off the main road on the corner.
