My boyfriend & I have visited twice now- we simply cannot get enough of this place! Unassuming from the outside, the moment you step foot in this coffee shop you are transported to a whimsical hodgepodge of fairytales, gothic literature, and historical rustic charm. The best word to describe it is phantasmagorical- defined as “something fantastic, bizarre, and dream-like, full of shifting, unreal images or ideas, like a surreal dream or a psychedelic vision, often involving strange juxtapositions and a blurring of reality and imagination.” I can’t get enough of their decor; visiting for coffee is more like having a magical story experience!
Speaking of the coffee: we both ordered the tiramisu latte. 10/10, hit the spot! Perfect temperature, foam, size, flavor… everything was wonderful. As for the food, I had the Monte Cristo and he had the Waffle Grilled Cheese. Both were excellent & so yummy!
We’re already looking forward to the next time we’ll come back here. Even aside from the good food & atmosphere, the staff here are so personable & kind!

Great experience from the moment I walked in the door. I was greeted warmly by all employees either with a good morning or a welcome in and a smile. I ordered the iced macchiato with butter, pecan, and my friend ordered a red velvet cappuccino both were delicious and hand delivered as ordered. We also ordered a cheddar and bacon bagel with cream cheese, which was also tasty. I found the prices to be fair since I am against big chain corporate owned shops or restaurants and prefer Mom and pop or family owned. As far as the reviews on food. I’m glad they had some small bites knowing they don’t have a kitchen. I took that into account. Cutesy vibe, friendly staff I will be back again.

What can’t I say … it was the best coffee I ever had and the food is out of this world. The atmosphere is quaint, comfortable, warming and friendly. The owner Christy is the most kind, friendly and loving person. I met my friend and drove 30 minutes . It’s worth every minute of your drive. This will forever be my coffee spot

Absolutely LOVE the decor in this place! Located in downtown bartow behind palace pizza. They make most coffees & have a small food menu. The coffee is good. Also they have a bookstore upstairs! Parking is kinda limited but overall nice place in small town bartow!

Today was my first visit. It looked so different inside than it did from the outside. It was like stepping into a magical place. I finally had their coffee flights (my fav was the pumpkin chai) and Montecristo sandwich. It looks like a regular sandwich but omg! It is so good. They had a raspberry jam to pair with it. I wanted a whole jar lol. Delicious! The owner was such a sweetheart. It almost felt like home. I will definitely be going back and I recommend it!!!

While visiting this charming city, I walked around Main Street and discovered the most amazing coffee shop—Unfiltered Coffee House. From the moment I walked in, the service was top-notch and genuinely welcoming. The atmosphere alone could make you want to relocate to Bartow.
Everything felt fresh and thoughtfully done. I had a chai latte and an Asiago bagel with butter—yummm! Simple, fresh, and absolutely delicious.
The décor is incredibly unique and beautifully curated. Every detail is so well put together that you could easily sit there all day, admiring every inch of the space.
Another great touch—they are pet-friendly and greet your furry friends with a smile, which makes the experience even more special. A true gem off Main Street and a must-visit if you’re in Bartow. ☕

We had the best time at Unfiltered! Their decor is happy and whimsical and their coffee flight was amazing! Super friendly staff that make you feel welcome as soon as you step in the door! Also check out Inklings bookstore upstairs while you’re there.

I met a friend at noon for coffee and lunch. The decor is very eclectic (see the stagecoach when you visit) but also curated. I love the vibe. There are plenty of seating options that invite you to linger over a coffee. I had an iced vanilla latte that was absolutely delicious. No bitter aftertaste or chemical taste. My friend got one of their fall drinks – think almond Joy. She said it was fantastic. They have a small food menu. We both got the quiche which changes daily. It was light and fluffy. I also got a salad with mine, which they forgot to bring out. When it came to the table, literally, the salad was thrown in a bowl. No presentation at all and some of the lettuce was draped over the side. Not a big deal, but it was a little off putting. I had attempted a visit before when a 45 minute wait for for food when they were swamped. Today, we waited for 15 minutes for the quiche (it was already baked and just needed a quick heat up). So, not sure the reason for delay today. There were only a few customers who ordered similar items.
It’s a very fun atmosphere, and if you are not in a rush, this is definitely a place to visit.
