We were passing through and stopped at the Scarlet Pearl to check it out and decided to eat at the restaurant.. well it was beyond our expectations the staff was super friendly and the food was incredible !! Best salmon I have had and the portions were spot on . If you come through Biloxi I would highly recommend Under the Oak restaurant. Nice casual atmosphere , and light and bright feeling throughout the facility . We came back and I had the chopped steak and just as expected … superb.

Worst experience ever! Under the oaks was my favorite place to eat . But since they reopened it’s be horrible . Today I ordered a Philly cheese steak with just onions since I’m allergic to mushrooms and peppers ., ,Gumbo, shrimp poboy ,and a baked potato. We got home and was very hungry I opened up my Philly cheese covered with pepper and mushrooms. The meat was horrible with a piece of provolone on it. I Was already upset that I could not eat my sandwich I opened up my husband’s container of rice for his gumbo I couldn’t believe my eyes it had a tablespoon of rice! What happened to under the oaks it was such a great place to eat .

We went with 2 kids and 4 adults. Meals ordered were Shrimp Poboy, Fried Green Tomato BLT, Patty Melt, Big Oak Burger, and Chicken Tenders. Sides were house salad, fries and the berries (strawberries and blueberries) Our waiter, Jorge was the best! Especially with our kids.

I am addicted to their shrimp and grits. I’m in the area every December and this is a must. Excellent service too. New decor is very busy and distracting, but the food was spot on.

Wife and I had a couple omelets and I had a long Island tea, drink was a little light but finished strong, food was good, our server Christina was great!! And the atmosphere here is clean and fresh, overall a great experience!

Large group had lunch today. Ordered a burger. It had no flavor and didn’t taste good. The coleslaw was very good but loaded with sugar. Every else seemed happy with their choice. I have to be honest. The decor was very nice.
